Over 14k at Leeds today

14,529 at Headingley. This would have been a solid 16k attendance if these teams weren't both doing their best to detract people from watching. The Cas turn out was low by their standards.

Up until last week, these were the SL standings for attendance figures. The first London listing is compared with Wakefield. The second (below Average) is compared with last year in the Championship. There are a few estimates in the 2023 London figure as with Hull KR in 2023 and 2024. 

Warrington is a disappointment in particular but London was expected.

Saints wigan stats are interesting seeing as the Good Friday game was at saints this year. London and catalan already played at home for saints this year , Hull and Leeds away support a fraction of the usual following.

I’ll be very interested to see the attendance at the Workington v Hunslet game today, a local sponsor originally was funding 500 £5 tickets and has since extended his generosity to £5 at the gate for anyone, town have really put great effort into the match day experience but ticket take up seems to be slow, hopefully their endeavours will be rewarded and with decent weather forecast the locals will turn out

I think this has to be seen as broadly positive, with every game now on TV?

Would be interesting to understand/guess the outliers increase/decrease, namely Wigan, Hull KR, Leigh & Warrington...

Is it a good feel factor in of the clubs/way they are playing... Wigan & Hull KR

The hard work at Leigh paying off... or again the feel good factor feeding through despite the earlier form

or the fixture list being so different so far in that mainly played the top teams at home or some interesting initiatives starting to pay off...

Higher attendances that Hudds, Salford and London this season and with very few away fans (though Bulls did bring a few).

I believe they had all of Maryport's junior sides playing , from under 6s right up to under 16s, so four hours of pre-match entertainment too.

Because it’s in a ridiculously big stadium which by all accounts is a nightmare to get to and away from.

It is not a nightmare to get to for big games like SOO. There are direct trains running continually from central station and from western suburbs for several hours before and after the game. These are free for all fans.

Just more NSW excuses.

I think it’s the time it takes to queue and get on/off said trains that are the issue, as opposed to the cost and regularity. 
 
I’ve not experienced it first hand though so I may be way out- I’m just repeating what was being discussed on a podcast regarding the state of Australian stadiums a couple of months ago, where they said the Accor was not fit for purpose these days.

Yet a Womens Soccer friendly is sold out....whats going on.
