Real last minute finish at Cru - Workington, with the Cru's winning try and conversion being almost literally on the final hooter, there wasn't time to kick off afterwards! In some respects Worky can consider themselves a bit unlucky, but their nasty habit of conceding penalties when they had decent field position lost them the game for me. Anyway the not so much monkey as large gorilla of a long losing run's off our backs and to win as they did shows that there's not much wrong with team spirit in the squad. 456 at the CSM stadium, which given recent form isn't too bad.

Just home from Eirias Park....and my heart rate is just about back to normal again.

A pulsating game between two sides determined to overturn the ball once they'd scored! Crusaders threw a massive interception to Workington for them to go six points clear, then a further try to go 10 points behind, but Crusaders showed great character to win the game with grit and determination, despite Workington constantly trying to slow the play of the balls down. For me we desrved the win...but only just!

Disappointing day out in South Leeds for us.

We didn't really get into top gear against Hunslet today and the week off before the trip to Gateshead will be welcome. We missed a couple through injury but generally looked a little jaded.

A decent drive home is the perfect way to cap off a late win.

Just because you think everyone hates you doesn't mean they don't.
