I'm ###### furious for me.

Apologies Archie, I wasn't trying to be smug, I just don't understand why it works for some but not others.

I don't think just accepting embarrassing scraps is in any way positive.

With the crowd I'm now pretty glad it's not on the BBC. As a way of selling the sport a near empty ground for our major northern hemisphere international does more harm than good.

Maybe you're not our core support any more. Which is fine. It's your right and your decision.

But we can't afford to alienate our core support when we do nothing to add to the fanbase.

It would be nice I think if France could get a couple of 4-pointers to close up the score-board at least.

Terrible take.

It's RL-fan elitism. Basking in the misery of the sport's offering.

I just assumed you don't like Rugby League and post a hundred times a day because this is the only website you can get on?

If someone like Dave isn't part of our core support anymore ... Do we have any core support?

The England player stuck out a foot on that grubber I thought.

Ref said not played at and England come off their line with the ball.

Probably agree with that

The crowd at Perpignan in 2021 was reasonable from memory too

OK so it's not fine, it's a shame but still up to you. I guess I'm confused why one poor quality game poorly promoted and poorly presented would put you off watching a potentially attractive rugby league match at a later date.

Lewis carves up the middle of the field and finds his fleet-footed captain to saunter in under the sticks.

34-8 after the kick.

My apologies too.

ouRLeague was the same - occasionally sweet, sometimes sour. I just expected SL+ to be more reliable. It's no good some folk finding it fine and others being made angry by it. Even the tries I've seen on facebook are properly blurry. Having given several free volunteer hours to RL today, being unable to then watch my national team on a reliable platform has left me upset.

The trouble is it's quite obvious that our core support is not interested in international games like this and that is a huge problem. The game is reaping what it has sown with this.

Amy Hardcastle man of the match in the women's game, according to the commentator just now.

It was the second time he said it as well.

What successes have IMG brought to bring you to that conclusion?

Let’s face it, it couldn’t get any worse.

I guess so and all the more reason why we should be trying to create events to attract the general public. But I still don't get why a keen supporter would give up.

I genuinely feel that is describing what you have been doing today.

Then you aren't really understanding what is going on here.

I'm embarrassed by RL. Which is the opposite of what I described.

I think Tison has been solid when he's come on and Griffier looks really classy and promising.

I think I would have liked more involvement from Mourgue here though. I would have been tempted to move him into the halves at HT. Rougé and Fages are both game-managers and France could have done with more zip to open things up around the ruck with speed and foot-work.

I reckon we could get a solid 20 pages on the 'Is there a "culture war" in the UK?' thread out of that.

I'm not delighted by today either and not sure you're getting my points either. Suspect interacting on social media isn't ideal. I suspect we'd be getting on better over a pint!!

Why not? If this is how we do internationals now, why should I spend a fortune to watch England play in the Autumn?

This is not the RFL's doing really, is it?  It's the FFR XIII who "organised" the whole thing. England's job is to turn up and play.

The only part of this that is down to the RFL is OurLeague, which I assume is all contracted out - and given that it's a free stream, presumably done on a small budget.
