Different prospect from the last 2 this one. Fax have class in every position and I just don't get why they're down amongst the dead men. They nudge as at theirs, we nudge them here, a score in it.

Games between the two teams are usually very tight and entertaining.

Well, we won't have Samy Kibula for this game or indeed the rest of the season - he's gone to Fev on a season long loan....

Another tough game against a surprisingly struggling fax! Not a position they are used to being in! I can see this one being a similar game to the one against dewsbury depending on which way we go first half! I always say that we need at least18- 20 if downhill first half! Which we luckily just about got to last week, If going uphill and we have at least 12 points on the board in a tight game which I'm expecting, I always fancy our chances! We are a funny team at times mainly our defence is outstanding, but we never seem to score highly, fax will be up for this one and we will need to be better than last week especially the second half display, always close and tough to call these games, could only be a drop goal in it, but I'd like to think batley by 8 points,

As a Fax fan I just can't see how we are going to win this one. We've been absolutely dire this season largely on the back of a horrendous injury list. That said we keep getting rolled every week with our aging pack and with Fairbank suspended again and our two best forwards out for the season i can't see owt changing. Hoping i'm wrong but Batley by 12. ️

Will he be a loss? I don’t think so… he struggled massively last weekend against a poor dewsbury pack

No Gledhill or Brown  in the squad, though maybe Ward and Manning might be back

Gledhill, Brown, also no Kibula now, we've no size in the pack, I too had hoped for Wardy's return. Leaky's ban is over, that's a plus. KTF your contribution just lightened the mood, I'd go radical in the pack, Walshaw at prop, Putt 2nd row, Hill at 13, Leaky, Moore and another forward rotate, then Flynn to come on.

Lots of rumour but yes Ward and Manning back in the squad, so have quickly unpicked my team-changes! How does everyone get to know what's going on, the pre-match injury etc but always knows afterwards when a question gets asked?

BTW; for those ready at a second's notice to rip in, I give advance notice that I will not be at the game, won't make any comment about performance if we lose, (although we've got a squad there to face anybody) although as a season ticket holder, the club already has my entry money. If anyone really wants to hear my excuse then I'll give it but it won't be pleasant public reading....just puttin' it out.
