Apparently there are other military planes (and TV 'copters) knocking about including the Patrouille Acrobatique de France....

Yanks will not have to do much in 2028 to improve on this , make a reasonable profit and that should do.....song or two from Adele maybe.

The general consensus on social media does seem to be that this is absolutely rubbish. Also a lot of people saying what this needs is Daft Punk!

I have generally watched most of the opening ceremonies for the last 4 or so olympics... Buy I have had to turn this one off, it was very boring. 

 

 

 

The fact that they are all French helped with the decision to turn off....

Apart from Seoul 1988, I've watched every opening ceremony since 1984, this is by far the worst and a million miles off what London did in 2012.

A primary school choir made up of 8 year olds singing Christmas carols while another kid shakes a tambourine and another plays a recorder out of tune would be superior to this rubbish.

Daft Punk would probably be better suited to the closing ceremony, which is party time for all the athletes. And that would be better than 2012's closer, which was a Coldplay dirge-fest.
