RigbyLuger Posted July 23 Posted July 23 Finals in Hull this weekend, but who knows about it? Is there any coverage on Our League? Why are we supposed to care if the RFL seem not to? 1
RBKnight Posted July 23 Posted July 23 Also, with Saints playing York on Wednesday evening in a crunch league match, that's two teams that will rely on fringe and U19 players. 2

The Blues Ox Posted July 26 Posted July 26 Not seen the Leeds squad but have heard they will be sending their strongest squad for the games.
BroncoFan Posted July 27 Posted July 27 Itâs a strong Leeds team which has been named however there are no playmakers with Casey & to a lesser extent Enright out, apart from Bennett not sure how the ball distribution will go. Having said that they will still be hard to beat, I noticed York have an under 19 squad topped up by a few from Sheffield. Looking forward to seeing the other squads now. Product of AS Ayguevives XIII, like Mahault Pommier. BTW, hope I give the impression of having more than the faintest idea how to pronounce Ayguevives. Such is the beauty of the written word.

BroncoFan Posted July 27 Posted July 27 Having now seen the squads in tipping Wigan, I think they have a good mix of mobile forwards, skilful halves and quick backs. Surprised Saints have key players in their squad with the big game v York on Wednesday night. Everything under the sun is in tune But the sun is eclipsed by the moon

Saints probably think they can beat York with one hand tied behind their back, which may well be the case given the Valkyrie's disjointed and disrupted season.
bird Posted July 28 Posted July 28 Broadcasting on Rugby League Channel. York 10 Hudd 16, Leeds 12 StH 4, currently Wigan 11 York 0

BroncoFan Posted July 28 Posted July 28 Aaaaaaand the 2 teams who miss the semi finals are Saints & York Valkyrie. Both wildcards are through to final 4. Leeds Huddersfield Cardiff Wigan. Everything under the sun is in tune But the sun is eclipsed by the moon
Futtocks Posted July 28 Posted July 28 The last match finished St Helens 9:17 Cardiff Demons. So the latter face Wigan in the semis next. Let me never fall into the vulgar mistake of dreaming that I am persecuted whenever I am contradicted. Ralph Waldo Emerson
