He obviously had his reasons for not bringing Pone back on, what them reasons are no one knows. I’m sure if you asked him though you’d get your answers.

Every week he does it. Not just yesterday and bore off with the ask him crack.

Was it his decision to bring him over?
Just like he did not choose to sign Sammut?

There's a few things not worked thus year including Sammut , you'd have thought he'd have ripped it in this league but no even before he went off to make some coin. We were calling to strengthen the squad mid-season and we did with what looked like 3 good overseas players,  we stuck one on the wing, one did zero and the other plays 15 mins max. They looked good signings but at least we got one good'n.

A positive from yesterday....the charity day must have raised a great sum for a very worthwhile cause....I'm sure at the auction Forbers shirt was bought for over 1k.

Well done all involved

Is Ponge carrying a knock, I'm sure his knee is always strapped up ? Zarrin is a real find .

1410 I think it went for in the end.

Most shirts went for a good price, a lot of money would’ve been raised for a great cause. Well done everyone

Tough defeat to take but Forster is a master of the dark arts and it will probably see Budsy missing the rest of the season for the straight Red.

Good to see a crowd of over 1000 and a massive £10000 raised for Archies Charity which is fantastic for such a worthy cause and again the off field activities including the Seaton take over add to the match day experience.

I will miss the Newcastle game but plan to get down for a couple of the Ladies games who need us all to get behind them as they continue to push to become Champions in their first full season.

Special mention to Carl on his 350 game milestone and I for one would like to see him continue to push that total on.

True Club Legend 👏

One last comment on Carl Forster , and i am sure people of a certain age will agree .  Just looking through  old Town programmes from 1963/64 , during that season Town  had in their pack from match to match Bill and Dennis Martin , Danny Gardiner ,Frank Foster and Spanky Mc Farlane . Compared to these players Carl Forster is a pussycat  !

Absolutely and a few more but big difference is that in their day they would just smack someone and it maybe penalised.

In today's game instant Red so not worth it really, however much we like to see occasional flare up

Forster wouldn’t have dared to try it on with that lot. My old mate Billy Pat would have sorted him out too!

You are totally right and he is not even in the same league as those players or the likes of the Pattinsons and Damage etc my point about the dark arts was more about how he manages to get reactions out of players and then roll around like a baby and constantly conning the Referee and getting his own way.

Premiership Footballer springs to mind 🙂

Indeed , in my younger days I  seen a few scrums at DP where when they broke up someone was lying spark out on the deck !

You've missed the best of the lot, Brian Edgar

A photo on the town Facebook page epitomises Forster, Matty has been tackled he’s flat on the ground and the photo catches Forster coming in with both knees, one to the back of the head and the other middle of the back. If that isn’t trying to hurt somebody or draw some reaction from the town players I  don’t know what is. I thought use of the knees like that was at least a sin bin offence but hey ho what do I know.

Brian was probably best back rower I've seen play, years ahead of his time but he wasn't a banger like some mentioned, just a pure thoroughbred

The match review panel have watched the footage of the red card incident and have decided there shouldn’t be any further action against Budsy, so no ban or fine for him which is pretty rare for a red card these days. Speaks volumes about how Forster milked it though.
