Muzza was given those players and did not have any influence in signing any of these. Of the 4 only Zafrin has proved to be a good signing every local player has improved under muzza’s  coaching  get teal

Well said it's always the coaches fault hmmm

for me walkers a good player and played for the club before muzza came along i cant understand why hes not playing him

I like the kid and think he has a great  future but have to say he hasnt had a very good season, for whatever reason he is not the player he was last season

There’s lots of variables at this level that we don’t know about Ciaran is a shift worker now for example and through no fault will miss training sessions, not sure he was ever going to compatible with Sammut either

The season sadly hasn’t gone to plan for a number of reasons it seems Muzza to Keighley is a done deal so it’s a case of complete the season review what’s went wrong and onwards and upwards next year hopefully after a few wins to round the season off

That may be true but he has all so had long lay offs with injury & suspension and has probably played more games in different postions than his favoured position to accomodate other players which will have an impact on his game

Peter, if you believe that any player comes in or out of the club without the coaches full approval, you are more deluded than the other individual on here who continues to push this narrative.

I'm happy to sit with anyone face to face and discuss all aspects of recruitment and retention, instead of listening to gossip and posting rubbish on here, come and speak to me and find out the facts.

Would a forum not be considered they used to be a great way of communicating with the fans and if held at Fibrus would also generate more income in the offseason

The podcasts were great in the Thorman era. You could ask questions online and buy a virtual pint to help with finances.

The thing with online podcasts is there’s always chance (NOT SAYING IT HAPPENED) to censor questions to suit whereas in an open face to face you can’t so much.

Ciaran was not blocked from playing for Seaton for any other reason than we were fully aware that Jarrod Sammut was potentially leaving the club and that Jordan Burns is managing an injury from game to game.

The club's decision was based on that, we had concerns of Ciaran getting injured and leaving us going into crucial games with 1 recognised half back if Jordan had sustained further injury deeming him unavailable.

There are always many factors that impact decisions. So hopefully that adds some context as to why on this occasion it wasn't an option.

Thanks for your reply Graeme

if Jordan was Injured and being manage  I could be wrong and feel free to shoot me down Would it not have made sense to pick walker to play as he was fit and training and rest Jordan to get over the injury.

That to me says the coach dose not think much of walker if he is picking an injured player in front of him even more so when the player he is picking dose not normally play in that position

I'd bite at the dig there but have just posted about how beating you home and away shows how far we have improved since Coventry Bears day. You have to appreciate how much better we are with Mark Dunning in charge and the players he has brought in that really weren't attracted to us before.

We are on a roll then and you seem to be in a slump as is confirmed by what has been written above.

Big thanks to all who made the trip down today. Much appreciated while we try to convince the Birmingham population of how good our game is.

Midlands are improving week on week and will be a real threat in the playoffs. I really enjoyed our visit to the Alexander stadium earlier this year.

Walker was banned so Burns went to standoff and played really well and so did Galea at fullback. Would you change a winning team? Walker came back on the bench.

I would if the player was injured which is what Graeme has just said but if he was fit and training no I would not change it  that for me is the difference he has said burns was injured so yeah i personally would pick a fit player over an injured one walker was also out with a HIA and was available for 4 wks before he was named on the bench for the last game which i presume is why he asked if he could get game time back at Seaton

I wouldn't, Burns was a bigger threat. That would seem crazy to me but everyone has an opinion. I don't want to see players playing injured ideally but he's a tough bloke and a leader so he keeps putting his hand up to play. Hopefully it can be sorted for next year but the downside is if they catch up with you forcing retirement.

Totally agree everyone is has there own opinion on things and there is nothing wrong with a healthy debate I am just the opposite to you and think is crazy to play an injured player over a fit play when it would let the Injured player get fit and not risk further damage but do agree that if he was fit and and training I would not change it

I think what was said was more Burns is carrying an injury but is able to play on it, I expect the majority of player at this point in a season are carrying knocks/injuries.
