Leeds have good line speed now, but still bang average in attack.

Leeds never really looked like scoring.

Ref had no impact on that result. Best team win

I thought the officiating was fine, for me no prob with the calls. The Wire looked sharp on attack while the Rhinos offered little in that regard.

It takes wisdom to know when a discussion has run its course.

It takes reasonableness to end that discussion.

Well played Warrington toughed it out. The more I see the Tai challenge on Miller in the first half the more I see a shoulder charge.

Yet when Tai gets up from the floor you can CLEARLY see him releasing his grip from Miller's shorts.

The bleating on Twitter, BBC and other outlets by Leeds fans tonight has been utterly pathetic, but I didn't expect it on here, where you are usually fair and informed.

There's a very Leeds United feel to Leeds Rhinos fans on social media tonight and it's not a good look.

I've just watched the highlights back: the Tai tackle and the Fusitua sinbinning both seemed cut-and-dry correct decisions to me. I am no less baffled by the Tai/Lisone incident than I was live at the ground; there didn't seem to be an offence by either player or any reason for the whistle to have been blown.

Tbf to our Rhino friends, I spoke to quite a few after the game last night on the way back into the city and they were all very magnanimous and thought the result was fair. They are clearly much improved as a team and it was a great test for us and I thought a good tough game of rugby.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Please don't take my opinion as bleating, we were beaten fairly and squarely by the better side.

Agree about the tai/lisone thing, I haven’t got a clue what he blew his whistle for?

did he explain it?

He mentioned warning them earlier about running in. He said he did Tai for contact after the whistle. I’m not sure what choice Tai had as he ran straight at him. I think he said he did Lisone for striking. Which again I don’t think it was just a forceful hand off. It just seemed like both players hadn’t heard the whistle. I think he was going to bin two players for the running in no matter what  and they were just the two he picked out.

As for the original infringement it must’ve been offside at the scrum.

Shouldn’t he actually bin the players that ran  in in that case?

Warrington we’re lucky earlier on in the game when macdonnell got penalised for aa none existent head shot and the Wire players all ran in.

Ashton looked offside before the fusitua binning aswell, they should have checked that

Anyway I think there were some decisions that killed the game as a contest however i don’t think Leeds would have won Wire were the slightly better team and deserved the win

Yeah Thewlis and Miller would’ve been the two to bin as the seemed to come in to escalate not calm down.

Wire seem to be copying Wigan in that. If they think there is a foul they all come flying in and it forces the refs hand.

My point was they didn’t check it and it wasn’t clear cut.

Anyway it’s yesterdays chip paper now.

As a Leeds fan i can still take positives from the loss.

I'm just watching it back on slo mo.

Wire seem offside from the scrum, williams.

Lisone seems to raise his elbow at williams face(signature move)

Lisone then carrys on and gets a shot off tai,  whistle blows, everyone in the vicinity stops apart from lison who goes running in field

Ref stops play as walker effects a tackle, not heavy on lisone and then Miller goes in and goes mental on thewlis for some reason, and then it breaks down

The Whistle blew before Tai hit Lisone didn’t it?

That’s the reason the ref gave for sending tai off for ten, he then sent Lisone to the bin for ‘striking’ (it was an open palmed hand off)

Just saw a replay if it and I can see why the ref deemed it striking, it was open handed but it definitely wasn't a hand off, he was away from Tai and went back at him, lashed out into his face.

Meh, it blew as they were coming together,  it definitely wasn't an ignorant action afterwards, as I say lisone didn't even realise the game had stopped and played on

The lisone/tai timing maybe, but the rest of it, accurate, happy to have a Leeds centric version and we see where we cross over.

Lest you forget, I was expecting williams to get sinbinned last night,  so im hardly favouring my side

I’m not Leeds centric but Thewlis came running in from his wing to get involved and was just as guilty as Miller. They were the two that lost control and should’ve been the ones to be binned.

Funny you should say that  the og poster mentioned thewlis, I didn't see him run in,  but he was just kinda there after lisone played on. He deffo was the first person Miller had a go at though
