RogerT
With York beating Toulouse this makes Batley's match crucial. I bet that's knocked a good few out of the last man standing, which we don't hear about anymore.

phildog
It's on WhatsApp regularly Rog. Just when we're on an upper and back in contention the French ho and surrender again! We need an improbable result at Whitehaven to stop us going back to 9th. York is the proverbial 4 pointer and another double to tick off. The mindset is there and it's do-able. andyacko
Fabulous to see Ally is OK, Looked really worrying though you could see he was moving when stretched out. Difficult originally to see who it was. Talked to Michael Ward after game who said that he was OK. Got his head in the wrong place tackling Ata Hingano. who showed a real caring concern for his stricken opponent. All the best, Leaky lad.
Keep The Faith
We weren’t good enough for minute one to minute 80 tackled lots and dropped the ball or ran into touch with it Walshaw, Manning and Moore didn’t stop trying http://tombatley.wordpress.com/ Give it a read.. The scrim reaper
Very Lacklustre performance from the boys considering a win could have kept us in the play offs race, york nothing special but we just didn't seem up for this one! 3 soft tries in the opening 15 and the game was already over, we just didn't seem to have any grunt or any idea what to do with the ball when we had it just lead to too much of our favourite approach of one man rugby leading to too many mistakes,Burton getting pushed into touch after catching their poor penalty kick one of the many lowlights, although we did score in the first half on the only occasion we threw the ball around was probably the only time we got near their line first half, the second half was even worse we never looked like getting near or over their line in fact the only time we did was at full time when the players came to thank the fans behind the sticks, play offs gone for us now probably 8/9 placed finish for us now! very very disappointing from the boys, we will need to improve for next week or it could be another hiding for us! One concern from today walshaw had a heavily strapped up leg , and was limping after the game! Edited August 26 by The scrim reaper
phildog
Ward I believe was 18th man v Eagles, 18th man is there for a reason. Given the fact that he may well have been called into the fray, do we think Mokko would put an unfit player on? How many games has he played so far? How can a man included in almost every matchday 17, say 95% of the season, be unfit?
seen it before
Disappointing performance from the first minute .However don't be surprised if York get to the final good, fast side who will cause a few upsets in the final weeks of the season
