Lots of focus seems to be on them winning a couple of more games to stay in the championship when it seems apparent to survive they need to drop into league one and regroup

hopefully they get sorted but it’s seems to be a really complicated situation to resolve

A group of players have refused to play for the new board. Halifax loaners probably recalled. It's looking grim for them

Listening to Kyle Amor they were altogether on not playing until they meet the bod. It's looking bleak for the club.

Really sad state of affairs. Nobody can be looking at this and be happy with their situation. What I dont understand as an outside is;

The players haven't been paid for god knows how long but still turned up week in week out. Board members come forward to 'rescue' the club in its immediate future. Then they decide not to play?

I can't pretend to know individuals, or the whole tale. But it's a confusing situation from the outside.

Thanks for clearing that up. A clash of personalities if forming a 'me before club' mentality by the looks of it. It happens and has done many times before but not by so many all at once and at such a precarious time for the club

A me before the club mentality? They've been playing unpaid for a while winning and giving others a real scare. Season on season. Now they lose their coach and team manager in a week, 2 people they liked and respected. How much can a squad of players take before they say enough is enough? I don't blame them one bit.

go **** yasell ya little **** gain NL1 then take ya **** out ya dads **** then speak proper rugby talk. you jameating little spotty ****...itchy waa waa 2008...

I think @townie88 was talking about the members on the board rather than the players.

So many all at once doesn't mean the board surely

The way its being all played out on Facebook is appalling, board members basically calling the players out, calling Des Byre a liar etc. the RFL need to step in here.

I feel sorry for the faithful  few supporters who week in week out  support there team . Its a pity that they dont get a decent gate every week .like alot of other Clubs need. Some clubs rely on a sugar daddy  who pumps money in to keep the club afloat ,that can only last so long before he gets fed up .  Or the club isn't run has a business , and have other revenue  coming in ,( not just on match days ),   plus a  Good Fans Following , who support them through the the good times and bad.  In time the inevitable will happen. Its a shame that Rugby league doesn't  attract more fans ,and that's every club who have this problem.  Because  you can see more Clubs  being in the same situation  as Whitehaven are finding themselves  in . Hope you find away  to pull this round . The last thing we need is a club dropping out of the league .  Good Luck .

More shambolic scrambling down the road, now supposedly the new board has resigned, where does that leave the new coach that was appointed by the new board.

how on earth has this situation been allowed to happen.

Interestingly when you look on companies house they were all appointed on the 17th August and supposedly all appointments were terminated on the 19th, 2 days ago. Very strange, must be some reason they’ve given termination date as the 19th.
