Discuss the SL game between St Helens and Hull Kingston Rovers here without questioning the impartiality of the officials.

Thank you.

Likely to be another very tough day at the office for Saints.

If Matautia gets back that’s a big plus. Lomax back from his ban helps in theory but he’s been poor this year. Just have to hope the rest has done him good.

Struggling to see anything other than a comfortable Rovers win - they have points in them and we do not, that simple really.

Saints should be up for this given the chase for places. I expect a close one. This is the first season i can remember when the Rovers spine as remained fairly injury free which invariably leads to a decent campaign (Leigh last year).

I can't believe I'm going to predict it but the Robins by 6 points.

Walmsley apparently now out with a quad injury and Bell doubtful. Unless Sione returns I think that would be 11 of the starting 17 out.

Doing it tough is an understatement 😆

I think I saw Sironen is out also

Squad named and Bell/Siro are indeed out but Walmsley named and Sione back.

Assuming Walmsley fit to play that leaves the absentees as Welsby, Percival, Hurrell, Dodd, Clark, Wingfield, Bell, Sironen, Knowles.

I'd guess at:

Robertson
Makinson
Vaughan
Blake
Ritson
Lomax
Mbye
Walmsley
Burns
Lees
Whitley
Batchelor
Passi/Matautia

Matautia/Paasi
Delaney
Stephens
Davies/Royle

Personally I'd be looking to give young Roberts a run in the halves but I don't think Wellens will.

That squad should be good enough to compete and any injury excuse would be flimsy, in my view.

I expect Hull KR to win but would be disappointed if we don't push Hull KR pretty strongly.

I think HKR will win by 20pts. Wellens would’ve parked all the buses up on our line last night ready for the match.
It’ll be five drives, three drop off passes, and a lovely dolly kick on the last tackle straight to the opposition.
At least it’ll be good to see some exciting RL even though it’ll be Rovers playing the good stuff.

We’ve got a chance if we are getting 9 tackles a set.

Looks like we're having a reshuffle with Whitby making his debut. Expected team is

Robertson, Makinson, Blake, Vaughan, Ritson, Lomax, Whitby, Delaney, Mbye, Lees, Batchelor, Whitley Matautai
Paasi, Stephens, Burns, Davies

Very poor start from Saints.  KR have not been great but this final try was too easy... just no effort play in cover from Saints.

This could be anything.

Saints look way off

You think the commentary team would highlight Saints injuries.
