Christ, I know this is a bold call, but you could see this almost being game over already, wigan don't look like they've got off the bus

Never mind.

It just had that feeling before,  we've all had it at games in the very early mins

Maybe wrong but didn't think Burgess needed to do that as Hull KR looked like they had enough players back.

Indeed. Wigan weren't exactly set up to attack quickly - Burgess had no need to flop and lay on there to slow it down.

How on earth is that a sin bin? The tackle was clearly not complete until the attacker stops moving. Burgess more than free to get involved there.

I rather saw it like that as well.

Field was still sliding and in movement. Burgess is surely entitled to go in and complete the tackle.

No try for me i think the ball pushed the corner flag  which is part of the try line.

Does that rule still occur if the ball is still in the hands of the attacker?

May has really let the Warriors back into the game. His clueless pick up from dummy half and awful kick has changed the momentum and dynamic in the game. Good player but he’s not a player for big games. Too loose

Looks like Wigan can only score when the ref takes a man off the other side for them. Good to know, we’ll have to practice to defend against that tactic for the Grand Final 🤣🤣🤣

I want to see it again at HT but it did look a bit dodgy. I thought there looked something a bit off about the put-down.

Tell Burgess not to flop and then lay on then. 🤣

But it's not a flop if the tackle hasn't been completed.

He wasn’t lying on there. The player didn’t even attempt to get up. There wasn’t even a dummy half to receive the ball.

Shocking decision that.

The acting half back is irrelevant to the decision. Burgess flopped and knew exactly what he was doing
