Well here's my take on  DB for what it's worth.

Prior to meeting him 100% wasn't a fan 

After several times 100% really rate the man straightforward honest puts his money where his mouth is very sensible and actually all round very generous nice guy.

That's my only comment

What's going on at the bottom is just not that big a deal. Some people want it to be because they've got axes to grind or want to manufacture attention but 99% of the sports watching public just don't care. 

I'm looking forward to the playoffs, and if it's anything like last night's HKR-Wigan game we're in for a cracking few weeks of top class sport. Leigh might pull off a shock ot two too. And that's what people will notice and enjoy.

I think most people would accept he has, and does, a lot of good.

Look Derek can say whatever he likes on twitter and people are allowed to comment on them. I find the stuff he posts an embarrassment especially from a SL club owner who voted for the IMG plans.

Fine he can change his mind, but he might want to have thought about it a bit more before voting for s 12 year plan.

We're you not about when we had 4 clubs not long ago who could all have been relegated and it was grabbing the attention on this site more than the battle for the play offs, and there were so many moaning about that on here, tell you what Toby if it was now that way between London and Leeds that would also be grabbing a lot of attention and big headlines.

I think the biggest surprise arising from this thread is the fact you want the bottom club protected from relegation.

Didn't you once admit that you are not infallable and adter making a judgement you have changed your mind, especially if more facts become more prevalent.

I don't disagree that p&r can add some excitement and interest. I quite liked people's first interpretation of the new system (a B club replacing the bottom club if they were B - which proved to be incorrect).

I think if the game decides it can't afford to maintain P&R that's fine to go with a closed shop, but it's a weird hybrid right now.

No all I am interested in is proper sporting competition that the bottom club gets relegated, whoever it maybe I do not hold with protecting anyone finishing bottom not even the French teams as was the call on here numerous times.
