A long read, an explanation if how YouTube channels make money for the channels.  It's all about advertising . Not saying The Sportsman makes  a profit from advertising, but it may well make a decent contribution .

I have no idea how accurate that article is, but if it is correct the sportsman isn't getting the views to make any sort of real money from ads.

Also, I have an adblocker but do they even show ads on livestreams?

Yes, I thought that, too. Maybe Martyn, or someone else on here with digital marketing knowledge might know.
