Much stronger looking squad but even so I worry about where the points come from.

We desperately need a positive perforamnce and hopefully it being the last appearance at home for people like Makinson and Sione means there is more positivity and feelgood about the place.

Saints by 10.

This is a fair point although Waqa Blake does have a number between 1-13 just to balance the argument 😂

I’ve seen some comments on the fella and thought he can’t be that bad. I then watched the KR game and understood. It’s almost like the blokes forgotten how to play, there must be a serious crisis of confidence going on.

Yeah he is that bad unfortunately, I always want to back the players but there was a particular moment (I think against Leigh or Salford) when it looked easier to score than not and he completely blew it, he’s gone altogether since IMHO.

Quite a highlight reel from his career in the NRL but the only time he has ever been that explosive at St Helens was at the back of the Imperial Pub.

He’s dropped out now thankfully, which then led to concern Davies might be picked but they have gone for Matautia thankfully.

I think Saints will edge this one.

It’s an awful situation because I want us to get into the play offs but I know we have no chance of beating any of the top 6 sides. Then from somewhere I start thinking if everyone’s back and the weathers awful we might have a chance. I hate this game.

Totally agree mate. Over the course of the season I am not sure we deserve it and it would be great to see other teams in there but, of course, we want to be in the playoffs.

if we are in there then there is always a slight chance but we’ve been so poor at times that if we did (by some freak) go on and win it then I would question the value of the play off system in all honesty.

Absolutely garbage and boring by both teams. Really fear for the game at all levels moving forward. Lingard proud to have three eighteen year old players on the pitch. Yes because Cas are notoriously tight and want to be in the big league without paying out decent bucks. Those three will be lucky to be pulling in £60k between them.
