Gledhill announcing this. Any fuel to the claim?

I *thought* Cornwall were tied to the new stadium or is it that the stadium is confirmed that they have served their purpose so may as well move on?

This thread has  been up for 2 hours, so in that time we have definitely had more forum members that have spent more time wondering if this is true then Gledhill would have done before he put out his tweets.

This membership is some hot potato. Hemel, Ottawa, Cornwall and now maybe Bedford. Is it making its way to Blackpool or Bramley?

Better than it just closing down - followed by a renewed search for another 36th club.

Nothing would surprise me with Perez

When Oldham played Cornwall i was chatting with the Cornwall representitives in the Directors lounge ( got an invite from the match sponsor) and was told he has very little involvement and spends his time with the football club, but they were moving to the new stadium next season.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

I don't know if this has any credibility but they say it's confirmed.

It’s now confirmed that Eric Perez is in the process of selling Cornwall’s RFL membership to Bedford Tigers, who are looking to join League One in 2025.

Tough on the fans who have got behind the Cornwall venture, if the tranfer goes ahead. I see Cornwall as a success and I wasn't sure if it would be successful. The only obvious downside was the travelling distance unless there are other reasons I don't know of. I hope it isn't a case of getting the licence money back.

If this is true it would seem Perez has found a new toy to play with after helping blow David Argyles money in Toronto Ottawa fantasy etc.

Feel really sorry after all the hard work put in by the Cornwall boys.

If Cornwall is sustainable hope the RFL will give them a licence to continue which would make sense
