Some people will cheerlead and hope it works, but this is again destined for a hard fall.....a poor logo. The sword is London if you have a degree in heraldry and the B is??????? r

I just thought it looked good to see such a thing in London, particularly with the Ashes coming up. This thread isnt exclusively just about your moans from 20 years ago. 3 1
Magic XIII Posted October 5 Author Posted October 5 I've flicked through the recent posts, making a point of flicking past LBIB negative pointless bs, but there seems to be no mention of the fact our new owner, Darren Lockyer, walked the GF trophy out this morning in NRL biggest game of the season. The bloke is a legend and we are very lucky to have him on board. 8

If you look at US sports some of the marks they use are a bit meh but the rest works well.. Again, let's see stuff in a whole rather than isolation..

Nice detail however. The sword of St Paul is on the flag of the city of London. It represents the fact that the patron saint of the City was decapitated.....only the once though and the sword should always be pointing upwards...but hey, I am being picky and nobody cares and thankfully nobody will remember by wednesday anyway. I sincerely hope that the 1,000 or so people in Vauxhall earlier will NOT be the opinion panel that are used to assess the success of the new branding.....40% (if not more) will be back in 'straya by xmas. I genuinely hope this new ownership group realise that they need 8 x that attendance 13 times a year paying almost double the entrance fee and then need to replace 40% of them when repeating each year. Another rebrand that went well....

My wife commented yesterday during the Grand Final.....how aussie commentators are the #1 difference between SL and NRL....she said it's as if the Aussies had been given 3 lines of colombia's finest at kick off whilst the english had a cup of tea and a digestive.... .....and that "re-brand" (Lockyers term not mine) had PG tips written all over it....lazy 1
