Just because he was at Skolars before moving to the Broncos doesn't mean they didn't help "discover" him. Or that they weren't aware of him in the community game before he went to the Skolars.

Everyone was aware of him in SCL!

The claim is clear - Broncos scouted him from the community game. The claim is demonstrably wrong. They signed him after he made the L1 team of the year. So, yeah, they 'discovered' him ... in L1.

So, does anyone know much about Robbie Farah’s plans and how much money they have to invest?

at a glance? SFA

on closer inspection, the main player at Two4Seven sold his coffee shop to take up a role with a business advisory company. During his spell as a barista, he started T4S baxk in 2017......but there seems little information available about what they do and who theu have done it for. The fact that he still takes a salary from his employer points to T4S not being that flash or flush.

Farrah was still playing footie when T4S was formed....and his job title there now is the same as the founders at his day job. The third pereon named is a hospitality professional.

so...still SFA

Thoughts? Will be very interested to hear what an aussie has to say about this.

Just walk away. Better yet, sprint as fast as you can for as long as you can in the opposite direction of these guys and once you can’t sprint anymore, jog, walk and then crawl in that same direction without stopping and when you can’t crawl any further find a hiding spot until you can move once again!

Who are the ''these guys'' you refer to and why are you so ill - disposed towards them?

So are you saying there is no substance to the story or to his bid to buy-in to the Bronco's?

Or are you just saying he ought to be avoided if the bid is real?

Lots of stories in the Australian media stretch credulity, it's primarily because League is a major sport in the East Coast and get column inches for speculation (or a media beat up as it's known) . As I read the story its not that Farah and agent want to buy the Broncos, it's that they would be intested in being a minor partner in a consortium. As to who would comprise any consortium given all the problems outlined in this thread alone that's anyone's guess.

Eric Watson who at some point in time was touted as the saviour of the Broncos in a story no-one ever got to the bottom of in the early noughties, is facing bankrupcy proceedings and hasw been dropped from the Kiwi rich list. Other prior and potential suitors are lack the finances these days.

Thev fact that London have been included in the Championship fixture list is a sort of glass half full or half empty situation as without proper funding the side will:

a) Repriese the 2012 season andv end up facing Championship one, with crowds dropping to sub-1,000 (935v average in 2022) which in tun will;

b) Dissapate any points given under IMG for the season in Super League. Making it unlikely that the club would be any kind of business proposition for investors.

I would say there is little substance to Robbie & Co becoming majority/full owners of London Broncos. It was probably some passing comment a journalist latched onto as an opportunity worth a small column in the offseason press.

I am also saying, should Robbie & Co be actually interested in the majority/full ownership, then the RFL should run a mile.

Why should the RFL runa mile?

Anyone got the latest news?

Well judging by the thread it seems the club are perambulating at varying speed away from this proposed takeover and Robbie Farah has instructed a barista to deal with the legalities.

I was born to run a club like this. Number 1, I do not spook easily, and those who think I do, are wasting their time, with their surprise attacks.
