RFL Announce London Broncos future. Broncos to reconsider this venue instead of the Australian High Commission.

Excuse my memory, but what was the context here? I can’t recall.

I can't remember, but it was some terrible RFL press conference. I don't think I have seen anything look more amateur hour than this.

It looks like when you get a couple of tables setup to greet people in the entrance to a school.

Tony Adam’s first press conference as RFL president. Brian Barwick Simon Johnson and Carl Hall alongside. Doncaster 2019. Less than amateur.

Ill take the Australian High Commission all day.

Hahahahahaha, is that what it was. FFS! Knowing that has just made that photo infinite times more hilarious than it already was.

Apparently, the rebrand event scheduled for Tuesday at Australia House has been 'postponed'.

Put back a month or so according to Steve Mascord on X.

As  expected/predicted….would not be held there during a federal election campaign.

And as the availability of the venue has caused the delay (if correct as you say due to election) rather than anything else, it would further lend itself to a major Australian involvement in the Broncos moving forward.

The room was 'unavailable' 🤔

Surely an announcement of some sort can be made before a room becomes available??

Given that the announcement should be more important than the venue …

They’re struggling to find a pie & peas supplier due to other events

Not even when Haven’s kit launch involved someone stood in front of a fence?

Are there literally no other available venues anywhere?

Meanwhile, today in South West London nearly 100 youngsters from south of the river began their Origin pathway journey for this year. Coaches Dan Robert’s, Karl Matthews and Mark Roughsedge put the lads through their paces, assisted by Broncos first teamers Stock Hellec Adebiyi and Player Welfare Manager Marty Hyde. Really good session especially for my lads as this was their first experience outside of our own school. One monster hit in defense and then fabulous evasion skills, pace and footwork led to a try assist for one of them playing a year above his age group.

Get the politics sorted and let the South get on with it!

According to the same source, an announcement about the takeover is still scheduled to take place on Tuesday.

Without Australia House.
