Fev hater Simon. First well done on the win. York are a good side now but Fev did have enough chances to put 40 past you I would have thought. Missed chances galore as well as a good defensive display by York. All in all not much between the sides. It's Dewsbury I have a gripe with sending us to Odsal where we are always made welcome NOT.

I doubt that very much. As I said there was very little between the teams and the game was in the balance for the most part.

Exactly. Had Fev scored the winning try there could have been no complaints. But fair do's to the winners in a tense game.

If you're referring to the disallowed try in the first half, the ref. made the right call. The crossfield kick was right in front of us, and almost every Fev player was in front of the kicker, that's why the 'try' was chalked off.

I was referring to the try in the second half ruled as a knock on by Gale when it actually brushed his head!

First time i have picked the same team as Ford all season.Even got the starting 13 right. With 5 games to go after we beat Toulouse i forecast the finishing points.                                         Wakefield 50            50                                                                                                           Toulouse   35            37                                                                                                           Bradford    34           34                                                                                                           Rovers       32           28                                                                                                           Widnes      31            29                                                                                                           York           30            30                                                                                                         Sheffield    30            28                                                                                             I thought Widnes would beat Toulouse 12-0 up at H.T  And Sheffield would beat Dewsbury .I expected after beating Toulouse Rovers would only lose the last game at York but i said Swinton away would be a difficult one.We lost 12 games and i said 12 or 13 and a 7th or 8th place finish. So getting into the play offs Rovers proved me wrong but we needed a very unlikely win by Dewsbury to achieve it. Sheffield have only won 1 of their last 8 games and that was against Rovers.i thought York would beat us by 12 so that was near the mark.Liam Harris for York made the difference.

Since Thackeray last appeared for them, Sheffield have only won 3 of 12. Whitehaven have better form over the same period (4 wins from 12).

Thought a draw was a more appropriate result.

Ive said before you men need to get rid of Ford, I’ve never seen more clueless coach after Leigh put 100 on York and I’m still of that mindset, he’s tactically inept.

Worth pointing out that Thackeray played in their defeats last week and today.

I was at the opposite end of the ground and didn't have a clear view of that one, though the ref and TJ were right on the spot. Likewise our disallowed try in the first half.

Fantastic game, massive effort from both sides.

We now have a pack that won't be bullied and that was important in the 50 to 70 minute period before Liam's second try. The look on Jack Bussey's face when 'little' Josh Daley hit him with an absolute bellringer will stay with me for a long time!

Hope you put one over on the Bulls, also known as The Red Dust Cowboys 😉

Think you Featherstone fans owe the mighty Dewsbury Rams a massive thank you for keeping your season alive, monumental effort by 16 players in destroying a Sheffield Eagles team allowing you to finish in the top 6 🤔😉😉

We should hardly thank you, though that must have been the biggest shock of the season at the Rams...well done to them. But Coolie you have extended  our hellish season  and sent us to Odsal where we always get a warm welcome😟😟😟

If Ford is locked in a sealed room next week and we let Reynolds and Locky sort out the coaching we have a better chance.Harris scored two tries today by going off script. He took on the defence and scored. We never look like doing anything different.Either forwards driving up the middle or pass out usually to the open side. Then on the last tackle a gentle high ball.Although  we do sometimes put in short kicks. No dummies ,run arounds ,back passes, short pass offloads ,kick over the defence, just sterile plays that won't trouble half decent defences.Ford needs to watch Hull KR, Salford and Leigh for attacking play to open up defences.

It was once uttered "you won't win owt with kids"

2024 version is

"you won't win anything with James Ford as coach"

Need to start listening 🤔😉

Harris ,the kicker was behind every other York player, meaning every York player was offside. A very easy decision.

Well let's be fair we've been putting 40+ on York for years 😉, good luck next week.
