Too tight to call this one.

Salfords home record is fantastic, Leigh are in great recent form.

Think this comes down to which side turns up fully focused and ready to play on the night.

Excited and nervous for this one.

Grew up watching Rowley in a Leigh shirt and he is one of my heroes, but I hope we can get one over on him on Friday.

Up the Leopards!

I think and hope for a Leigh victory, but one reservation of that happening will be the positional team selection, with the way Matt Moylan performs under the high short ball that allows the attacking players to put him under pressure on recieving the ball really worries me, it does against any team but the one containing the best tactical field kicker in the game fills me with dread if Moylan is selected at full back. I would swop him around with O'Brien, I see that Zac is back in the squad but he does not link as well when joining the attack with his inability to pass the ball, O'Brien does that link so much better and utilises the outside backs better on either side of the field.

Salford- weeks rest and home advantage. Leigh missing ODonnell and Amone plus we never win with smith

We never win with Smith  either Craig, he seems to dither a lot ,could be a well fought out draw then?

Are Amone and O'Donnell really out?

If so, two massive absentees. I would have had both of them in the Dream Team for 2024.

2 tough games have left the squad battered and short of forwards. Had a good bet on Salford to soften the pain

As for the game, Leigh are in excellent form and some of their key players are firing. But Salford have this tendency to find a way to win and they have only lost twice at home this season. It's as finely balanced as it comes.

Salford 20-18 Leigh.

Looking forward to this one - a genuine 50/50 and getting the crowd too.

Agree tie of the w/e , both sides can play some fantastic stuff.

If Amone and O'Donnell are indeed missing as reported, I think that seriously hampers the chances of Leigh winning, I had it at 50/50 couldn't call it, without those two I will now go 60/40 in favour of Salford.

I have wondered for a while what Lachlan Lam is going to do without O'Donnell running outside him on his left next season, well it seems we are going to find out earlier than we wanted or expected.

I'm currently away in Italy, so will have to make do with the radio commentary. May the best team win, the one that scores the most points. I live in hope that the forum posts are all about the game and not about how the ref/touch judge/ video ref  should have done- on not done- this that or the other, or was mistaken or unfair or ....well, you get the picture.

Bring it on! 👍

Q: When will we know that 14 clubs is working for Super League?

A. Before we can answer that, we need to know what the move was meant to achieve. Seemingly, no one knows,

Amone running round like a spring chicken the other day ?
