RL has been going great guns the last few years in Norway. Up step RU and the same old dirty tricks:

It’s these sort of actions which can really disrupt the establishment. Unfortunately I don’t think RL has the foundations in Norway or the funds internationally to support an uprising.

They can’t help themselves can they?

Despite trying to appear “cuddly” union still has the stench of fascism and apartheid clinging to it

If a club fulfills all its RU commitments, on what legal basis can it be kicked out just because it plays another sport(s)?

Agreed, though there wasn’t any legal basis for decades of people being banned from playing Union because they’d had the audacity to try League either.

Is there anything RL clubs in the UK can do to help? Such as UK teams visiting to play local sides or the reverse.

Anne Haigh who heads up Norway RL i think is also on the Norway RU committee according to their website.

Rugby league in Norway is under the effective control of the Norwegian Rugby Union.

Hence the issue.

In that case, it has now become a conflict of interests.
