Which stand will the Knights fans be going in?

If you go onto the ticketing section of Trinity's website, the away ticket options are standing on the West Terrace (the open terrace along the touchline) or seated in the (new) East Stand opposite it.

I went to the regular season game as a neutral - most York fans were on the West Terrace. Those who wanted a seat were mainly in 'East Stand B'.

west terrace (standing) bargain only 12 quid for adults , not expecting anything just a great day to get behind em and enjoy what's been a much better season than expected , up the fantastic knights😀

Unbelievable to be in this position considering how things were at the start of the season, I must admit I did have my doubts when Mash was brought in but my god any such thoughts were soon put to bed, the transformation has been nothing short of spoectacular, our defence is outstanding as is the attack, we play a very entertaining style of rugby which is great to watch. Not only that put the players seem to be enjoying it too, we have a cracking group who put in 100% every week and should one only put in 99% or make an error he isn't afraid to rotate them, I know he has the luxury of a pretty fully fit squad now which wasn't the case earlier, but still, there are no favourites out there. I will be sorry to see the guys who are leaving go.

I have a feeling we could cause a major upset , this weekend.

Did anyone see James Ford post match Interview after the Bradford game, on U tube, after seeing his demeanour and what he said about some of his players, I'm glad he's not  coaching the Knights any more, makes me feel privileged that we have Mark Applegarth as our coach,  he really speaks so well .

Good luck to the Knights for the Wakefield game. We can do it!

Just remember we wouldn't be anywhere near where we are now without Fordy.

It wasn't half as bad as i expected, he did want winding up ,but he was saying some players have played while not  being fully fit. Some are leaving naturally but i didn't hear him saying anything untoward the players. Anyway good luck at Wakefield, favourites have been beaten before  🤞 .

Agreed.

If we put coaches in the York Hall of Fame, he'd definitely be in it. A club legend for me.

Took us from a shambles of an outfit who were training on school pitches to winning League 1, getting in the Championship play-offs twice and playing at Wembley. Can't think of another coach who's achieved as much with such adversity.

Yep.

Fordy had his critics at York but, overall, did an amazing job. Christ, he pretty much carried us on his back for a while when the club was thrown to the wolves.

I think he had gone as far as he could with us though, a bit like Wayne Bennett at the Brisbane Broncos, he was at York Knights for ten years after all, and the fans loved him. I don't care who goes to Featherstone, they will never be good enough, look at who has been and gone in the last few years, they can fall out with themselves over there, for some reason.

Not against cook starting but I’d opt for jubb just to deal with Wakeys big pack also dropping Cunningham for another middle for the same reason.

This is all about circumstances though isn't it? The coach whose team have won and are playing well is always going to come across well, whereas the coach who has to speak half an hour after a defeat is always going to be ripe for cirticism.

Fordy was clearly very deflated and disappointed after the defeat at Bradford and to be honest there would be something wrong if he wasn't, and his assessment was a pretty accurate depiction of the game.

It's a different kettle of fish being a coach when you're losing, have a look at the Wakefield forum from last season where there were hundreds, and I mean hundreds, of posts stating how totally out of his depth Applegarth was. It doesn't matter what you say in your post-game quotes if you're losing regularly, fans will find something to fault with it.

One player you can't leave out is Nikau on current form it's where you play him is going to be the difficult choice for Applegarth.

Best players in best positions, and if Dagger is fit, would you leave out Ata or Liam? One player I wouldn't risk, sadly, is Bailey Antrobus, who I don't think seems to have recovered fully from his injury. We need 17 out there who are fully fit.

I really feel bailey antrobus needs to be used in his best position as a hard running aggressive backrower, not as a battering ram middle.

Spoke to Joe on Sunday and he's says that there had been no indication from Wakey up to then to say that he couldn't.

Can't see dagger being match fit, especially for wakey, as good as nikau has been he always drops a bomb or two, and wakey will know that! I wouldn't leave field out either, think he's had another great season and would play him over nikau at centre every week.

He is in Kear's Wales squad for their game against Jamaica next Tuesday, I agree he is better as a backrower , see where Kear plays him
