Shame the Hunslet twitter feed couldn't win with class. Some of the moaning out of the club about medals and such hasn't been endearing. Great for the players to achieve what they have against the odds.

Great game. I’m sure the other Championship clubs will be pleased. Cannon fodder for them next year

Keep your negativity going and we will prove you wrong yet again like we did winning this play- off. Next season, yes they will be hard games in the Championship no doubt, but write off the Huns at your peril like your sarcastic comments do.

Congrats to Hunslet and what a brilliant game. Hard not to feel bad for Swinton and its a shame they will have to waste a season in League 1 when they looked to be making progress and to be relegated from 3rd bottom must be a sickener.

From a Fax fan point of view and Swinton been our bogey team Im not too dissappointed about losing Swinton from the league.

Superbly Tense game of Rugby League, enhanced by a good Refereeing performance, didnt see that result coming, very hard times ahead for the Lions sadly. Beharrell was masterful with the winning pass, hes like Sammut, two warriors!

I wonder whether Rhys Williams will double up and play for Wales tomorrow? Ant Walker also in the Wales squad, but I don't think he played yesterday.

Beharrell Is a horrible little scrote on the pitch, but he`s Hunslets horrible little scrote and they love him. Same as if he played for my team I would love him...but he doesn't, so he's a horrible little scrote 😅

Got to feel sorry for Hunslet, after yesterday's epic performance I just checked the Championship table on the RFL website and it appears that they have been decreed to have finished bottom and thus immediately relegated...

Hunslet hasn't had large crowds this season, averaging under 500 per regular season match. What can they expect in the Championship?

You would imagine a target of around 1k or so?

They gave Dewsbury a good run for their money.

I imagine there's at least one championship club that will be glad to not be on the receiving end of Alan Kilshaw's coaching methods. RFL tribunal hearing is this week I believe.

Not heard anything further about this.
No noose is good noose, I guess...

The RFL tribunal is this week. They've taken statements from all parties already. The fact that it's been over 3 months makes me think slap on the wrist at most.

Sounded like most of them turned up at Swinton yesterday. Noisy and a colourful vocabulary. Just like the old days. Good on 'em.

I couldn't hear what they were saying but certainly the more vocal.

They are definitely an old school crowd! Plenty of colourful language when they are in town. Hunslets home crowds are small though their ground is actually pretty decent with a good main stand. Always bring a half decent travelling support with them.

Looking at the league table its even crazier to think we just relegated the 3rd from bottom team in the Championship to replace them with a team that finished 4th in League 1 and that lost over a 3rd of their games and had a negative points difference just for the simple reason of evening up the divisions.

I suppose it depends what you mean by “ decent “ . We could have done without the muppets that insisted on standing up in front of the box windows and wouldn’t sit down.

I remember in 2014, 2nd in the regular season Hunslet (again ironically), were promoted from the then Championship 1 to the Championship as 5 Championship clubs were relegated.
