If Wakey were to lose, would their signings for next year still happen or were they signed on the basis of promotion to SL?

Course they will still happen, promotion depends on IMG score and not this game, albeit Trinity would like to win the GF to justify their promotion I would assume.

Wakefield losing doesn’t really have a bearing on their SL status next year.

Is this available to watch anywhere?

I don't think so. The Sportsman are showing 1 game a week at the moment, but have chosen to show the promotion/relegation play-off between Swinton and Hunslet this week.

I assume they will show the Championship final next week.

Edit: Wakefield seem to put full match replays on their YouTube channel during the week if that might be of interest.

I like going to see something that isn't televised. Mostly because in a world when it sometimes seems that everything is recorded, I like the thought of actually having to witness it for yourself, but also because no one can argue over high definition slow motion replays.

No Trueman today so at least we shall not be seeing those looping passes to find holes in the defence

He’s not had much game time, would’ve been a risk to play him with the options available.

The ideal final for me.  Tight game as per our last visit to Odsall.

Would be good travelling support from Bradford too, deserving of a share the bumper pay-out from the full house gate (unlike one homme and his chien).

Bet one or two Super League clubs would prefer Bradford to get the bonus IMG points rather than Toulouse too?

As well as most Championship club's supporters.

Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.

HT Trinity 6 Knights 7

At first it seemed as if Wakefield were set to run away with it, but then they changed their minds about being so good. Very close game.

Been our biggest let down this year. No great loss within today's squad.

Referee letting a lot of offences just fly by. Trinity players numerous times upset with ref. Taken out off ball, head highs and holding down going unpunished. Ref brought play back 20 yards because advantage hadn’t been played and gave ball back to York - truly bizzare.

Regardless Trinity despite dominating most that half have coughed up too much ball. Lino, Griffin both had absolute shockers and can’t keep hold of the ball. Why Lino is kicking o don’t know. Put in most of them down fullbacks throat.

Trinity should go back to using their strength in the forwards.

York have one play today. Roughouse max Jowitt. First time he took ball dropped on him with a forearm unnecessarily and continued to rough him up since. It’s working though tbf.

The Lino to Griffin ball has been a poor option right back since it cost us that golden point loss at Fev in t'cup.

York on top still, and Trinity just can’t get the field position.

And then they get a huge slice of luck and Trinity hit the front.
