Yes it certainly happens. Guys like Baptiste Fabre who are very talented have not pushed on. Perhaps it’s a lack of ambition, not sure. Though Enzo Griffier joining the roosters is very positive stuff, he should be in line for an NRL debut next season as well. Seems that clubs are starting to take notice of France, more NRL clubs than SL surprisingly. Hopefully Maxime Rostang, Nolan Lopez-Buttignol, Quentin Crunel, Mahault Beauvilliers, Baptiste Pourchi, Yillan Mongay and Anthony Munico will all get signed to first grade clubs soon. They all have the potential. 3 extra NRL clubs can only be a positive thing as these new teams will need 100+ players when you take into account each club will need a playing roster of 30 players plus 3-4 players signed to development contracts. then you’ve obviously got the Queensland&NSW cup squads and jersey flegg squads too.

I’m hoping Enzo Griffier becomes a bit of a figure head for French players in the NRL. Will be 4th choice centre next year you’d think only behind Nawaqanitawase, Billy Smith and Rob Toia.
