Fulham played a league game at Chelsea the night before the Challenge Cup Final if I remember correctly. I think they played York. Mansfield moved to Alfreton Town's ground after Mansfield Town FC. I remember watching Featherstone play London Crusaders at Hendon FC. Also, if not already mentioned, did Northampton Town FC host a SL on the road game?

Moldova beat Morocco at Northampton's Sixfields stadium in the 1995 Emerging Nations tournament and 2,008 people attended ! (that's from the current Emerging Nations thread on this forum).

Been to most UK RL grounds (old & new) but as well as being a RL & football fan I also followed speedway. Seen the Speedway at the old Wembley when they used to host the World Final - 90,000+ fans there.  Also seen speedway (in addition to RL) at Cardiff, Sheffield, Bradford, Halifax, Workington & HKR.

Speedway at Derwent Park is gone.... The Comets now have their own purpose built track.... But Derwent Park AKA Fibrus Stadium now hosts women's football in addition to Rugby league...

Let's see, I don't think I've ever been to a RL specific stadium, every ground I've been to has been a football ground;

MKM Stadium - Hull games obviously, Internationals, a couple of Hull City games.

St. James' Park - Magic Weekend

Elland Road - Internationals

John Smith Stadium - Internationals

Keepmoat Stadium - Challenge Cup semi-final

Anfield - Four Nations final

Wembley - Challenge Cup final

------

I haven't been to many grounds, never had a lot of money to travel round the country to games.

The first ever stadium I went to was Christie Park in Morecambe when I was about 7 or something; on a family holiday in said town, my grandparents took me and my brother to Morecambe v Northwich Victoria if I remember rightly. I don't remember much about the game but the one thing I do remember from the evening was walking away from the ground and my grandad being egged by some hooligans who shot past in a car..!

Widnes....Rugby League at student, amateur, international, county, reserve and first team levels. Football and American Football.

Wembley...RL, FA Trophy Finals, Charity Shield, American Football

That's enough.

I went to Comets' new track, at Northside, in 2023. Lot of potential there.

I see Workington Reds Ladies have now changed their name to Workington Town Women, and changed their colours from red to blue. Looks like their reserves play at Netherhall RUFC (rugby league ever played there?).

Watersheddings had, as well as Rugby League, a greyhound track next door, but also hosted a base ball club that apparently attracted thousands.

Oh and forgot to mention that it was originally Oldham cricket ground. That's why the pavilion was where it was , between the rugby pitch and greyhound track!

Thanks, my mistake, and Cardiff won if I remember correctly.

Yep, 20-14 (just looked it up), I remember Martin Herdman hitting Cardiff's Tommy David with a classic straight right and David getting up and bopping Herdman back, it was quite a dirty game with very little atmosphere as a bit over 3k of us rattled round Stamford Bridge. Back on topic, the only grounds where I've watched RL and another sport are Craven Cottage and Wembley, plenty where other sports are played but not both.

Rugby league and rugby union at Loftus Road and the Stoop

Rugby league and speedway at the Millennium Stadium and Odsal
