I can't believe the Salford saga is still going...

Really? This is just the start.

I can only assume that, if this is true, you aren't registered to vote (along with all the other SRD fans).

Yes, I'm registered to vote but I haven't voted for 37 years.

265 pages in and we still haven't finished the first chapter.

The new governing body will take immediate action, unlike the rabble who were removed.

They won't allow the sport to look all amateur and unprofessional.

After the HKR V Cas game last night they said a Bridging loan was in place for this month and were optimistic about money coming in for signings. This fits in with what I’d heard.

right way and a wrong way to do things apparently, says Paul Rowley….

But that can't be right because Salford are always the victims...🙄

Doesn't count when Super league teams shaft lower league teams

The bridging loan has been secured but unlikely to land for a couple of weeks.

HMRC willing to wait if they're getting paid, but someone will have to provide a bridging loan for a the bridging loan if the players are to be paid on time.

Their priority right now should definitely be to make more signings. If they keep spending money and put their fingers in their ears and repeat lalalalalalala over and over it will all go away.

That’s worrying from an RFL oversight point of view

I think they just meant signings to fill the squad out not top class players. First point of call is clear the debts after that that aim should be to invest in off field stuff to increase revenue and make sure we never end up in this spot again

Please keep this going people. It's getting better and better. This page is the best yet. I particularly enjoy the anti Rowley comments. I'm off to watch Ince Rose bridge today. Cheers.

Things that should happen, but won't

And don't they have a pathway to fill out the squad?

Point of information: who is providing this loan and who is going to be repaying it?

A question that has been asked many times without answer.

The timing of the loan, in c2 weeks time, also raises a few questions, like is it really going to happen

Unless they find another Koukash who wrote his loans off I believe, they are stuffed

At they moment they are borrowing from Peter to pay Paul and that cannot continue forever

I can't see beyond some sort of insolvency which means they will lose SL status. It might be worth pressing the insolvency button sooner rather than later so can prepare to start again and rebuild in League 1

I dont like seeing what has happened to Salford as I do have a spot for them but the current situation seems to be death by a thousand cuts or whatever the phrase is
