I cannot recall ever seeing Lezignan down that low.  Could be one of their worst ever seasons in recent history.

Almost went bankrupt two years ago, new start with a young team that over performed, they lost two very strong imports and have lost games by two points this season that they won last year by a couple of points,

A young team that has a minimum of 13 locally produced players on the team sheet every week,

Hopefully Paul momorovski will bring the spark that will change the close losses to close wins,

It's a very close league this season which is great to see, the level of imports is very high, the team with the better imports are having the best seasons,

Have watched Lezignan a couple of times over the last few weeks, they just look a little short of size and cutting edge. They string some good passages of play together but then it falls apart through handling errors or miscommunication.

Good to hear they’re rebuilding however and they’ll be better for this in seasons to come. Brocas & Mata’afa have stood out for me in watching them. Also good to see Jordan Flovie continue to score tries for fun in a weaker team.

Do the overseas imports have part-time jobs as well?

How many French players are full time in Super XIII ?

I'd say 2 or 3 at Albi and that's all, I suppose catalans are but they are mainly students, but they definitely don't have a full time wage,

Any supplements from sponsors etc?

Yes some may get top ups, but all imports have to be on a pro contract aat at least minimum wage, that's the rules I don't know if all teams respect this,

No they've taken a ex nrl player (centre)  and a young 22 year old prop, who looks very good, plus pellisier, and harrison Hansen, to add to natoli and the miloudi brothers,

If the prop is the big kiwi/Islander who came off the bench against Carca, he’s some signing! He absolutely flattened one of Carca’s middles at one point

Yes he’s Ilai Tuia whose father Dave played for Tonneins in the late 90’s. Ilai spent 4 seasons in the Penrith youth system before returning home to Wellington this year & played with his home club Randwick Kingfishers. He was contacted by Pia & arrived 8 days later. A very humble, hard working young man who looks to have a great career ahead of him.
