I’ve not joined a league. I couldn’t find any codes. Well there was one but from what I could tell there seemed to be a $20 fee with apparently winner takes all.

With this being the first time for this kind of finals SC, it’s probably best to just see how it goes.

Like you, I've not joined any leagues, just going to see how it goes this year. In the future, I wonder if they would consider replicating all the regular season leagues for the finals.

Week 1 my score was 920 

That's position 14,386 out of 50,801

Failed miserably in week 2 with 820 after 959 in week 1. Now ranked a miserable 14,269 overall.

Yes, bit if it’s a consolation, there’s over 50,000 people taking part so you are still in the top 28% (approximately).

This is going to sound very arrogant, but I get very upset if I'm not in the top 10%. I've been playing long enough, and watch enough NRL to think that is a reasonable target.

I’ve been playing SC long and watch enough NRL to grasp at anything that can be considered okay!

Finals week 3 was a toughie as some top choices were on losing sides and struggled to score. 
I got a much lower score this week but went up the overall rankings so I expect it was a difficult week for most folk.

I no longer desire to share my score. Suffice to say I was well belowan acceptable score thiscweek and remain stuck at about 14k to 15k overall.

Have you tried giving the manager of your team a serious talking to as I did with my 'regular season' manager? It did no good, by the way.

My budget for compensating fired head coaches has already been used (and abused). As I said in Saturday night as I left Headingley : "there's always next year".

Finals Competition Complete

Here's my GF result and rankings:

I'm happy with that. 

Of my team selection in that round I should have had Papenhuyzen as my VC.

I wish I'd kept Katoa, that would have put icing on the cake!

The finals competition was a bit of fun. It was a refreshing change to be able to change the whole team every week. i could have done with some of that during the regular SC season!

Some of us did. Or it seemed like we did considering how early I ran out of trades.
