Sat is a sell out.

Still around 4k tickets available for Sundays game with 13k Sold (About 50/50) each team.

Is Saturday definitely a sell out?

The last we heard was that Rovers had sold their tickets but there were still tickets available via the Catalans website and the two women's teams playing beforehand.

Challenge Cup semi-final attendance update as sell-out confirmed. It's a sell-out in York! Saturday's Challenge Cup semi-final between Hull KR and Catalans will be played in front of a sold-out crowd at the LNER Community Stadium.

Couldn’t be more serious. Eels are on the improve with a returned Moses against an opponent they could realistically have beaten.

11k is scraping the barrel low for NRL.

Couple of wins away from 20k crowds! That’s almost a 100% uplift on yesterday!

A club their size and magnitude should be meeting the NRL average of 20k as a bare minimum. Excusing them performing at almost as low as 50% of the NRL avg because of form and Thursday night is being very generous in my opinion.

There was 26k+ at commbank the other week when the Eels defeated the tigers.

nothing to get worked up and excited about.

26k was a good crowd.

11k stinks and I agree, nothing to get excited about.

Crowds will naturally dip when teams are sitting near to or at the bottom of the table and when you throw in playing Thursday night and non-Sydney opposition into the mix even more so.

a few wins and eels climbing the table will see crowds threaten 20k again.

It was and I think it still gets 20k+ on Saturday or Sunday.

With statements like that you are well on your way to winning the most obvious statement of the day award.

I have higher expectations than some it seems. Where facilities can accomodate, 11k just does not fit the story of the NRL being a juggernaut on the cusp of eclipsing their rival. Heck, 11k is almost as low as the Wanderers crowd average.

Not only is it a most obvious statement but it happens to be a matter of fact statement as well.

compare the crowds of the panthers and bulldogs this season to 2-3 seasons ago .

again it’s nothing to worry about or get excited about as the NRL is going gangbusters both on and off the pitch.

I think when the NRL are averaging 20k then anything below 15k has to be seen  as poor bar exceptional circumstances. Clubs that are getting crowds around 10k certainly should be open to criticism and scrutiny when the NRL is growing as it is.

11k in the NRL is like a SL club getting 4 or 5k and we would all say those clubs should be doing better.

My sentiments too.

Who would have thought a sports club with next to no history, playing on an oval nearby would be getting bigger crowds than Parramatta?

Thursday evening games are a crowd killer.

they even affect the broncos crowds.

Again, no need to state the obvious.

I know it was a Thursday night. I know it was Parra, and I know where they are on the ladder. I know they were paying an interstate team.

I still think the attendance figure was terribly poor.

And again stating the obvious just happens to be inconveniently factual.

I think you are being harsh on the eels for this 1 game when there are far more pressing concerns like the crowds and long-term futures of say souths, titans, sharks and dragons.

Crowd at Souths on Friday was pitiful as well.

Dragons on Saturday barely any better.

2 clubs with big problems and long term issues.

ditto titans and sharks.

the sooner souths ditch Accor the better.

Yep, Souths back to Moore Park needs to happen yesterday.

Sharks need a new ground. I wouldn’t say the club has big problems though. Big hold up, for sure.

I think the bunnies crowds will be dramatically affected if they move to Allianz like the roosters even if they are struggling at the bottom end of the table.

do you think the sharks have a future in the shire?

Excellent that perhaps this is the time for the French RL to develop their league structures and International game
