I want a team on the Central Coast.

Wembley is the traditional home of the CC final and is the most famous stadium in the world, it’s a good thing for our sport to play there imho, and it’s not all about armchair seat counters. 6 1

Further contraction and the final in the same city as the GF. There’s also no guarantee that crowds would be the same at Man City as they are at Wembley, I suspect they’d be smaller after the novelty quickly wore off. Edited May 12 by Eddie 1

It's a final that should be celebrated with a full house and i don't know the answer how to get a full house at Wembley but like the Super Bowel it should be mob=ved around and i'm not the only one thinking that. 1 1

The FA Cup, league cup, fa trophy, fa vase and play offs finals aren’t moved around. America is an enormous country without a national stadium so moving the SB each year makes sense, less so in England. Also once we gave Wembley up it would be very hard to get it back as it’s so heavily subscribed, and we’d be stuck playing at unappealing club football grounds with nowhere near the attraction of Wembley. It's the perfect size for a Syndey team to move to and I always thought Cbus capacity is a bit to generous and a Central Coast sized stadium on the Gold Coast would of been perfect.

Im just not convinced that the weekend/day out in London has the same pull as it did 20-30 years ago and that cities like Manchester, Liverpool and Newcastle etc are just as popular if not more popular with people these days. 1

I so see you point but I would love to see CC final and SL moved around....Wembley doesn't do it for me anymore.....i'm still stuck in 1994. 1

It’s Wembley though, the attraction of that can’t be underestimated. An annual trip to Anfield or Man City would have nowhere near the appeal.

Declining Wembley attendances would suggest otherwise. if Newcastle utd build a new stadium or ever expand st James park then that’s another venue/city to add to Manchester and Liverpool to rotate the challenge cup final around. maybe even throw Edinburgh into the mix also. 2

Every year we get this same reaction to playing at Wembley. Despite the last two decades of internationals and the 2022 cup final not selling out Spurs’ stadium showing that moving to a smaller venue doesn’t mean you’re more likely to sell it out. Yet we don’t get the same cry about empty seats for Magic Weekend, despite the fact that less % of tickets for the event are sold. 4

Why not stick everyone on the TV facing stands , then as far as the general and casual viewers are concerned it’s full . Simples 1

Why would people who don’t go to London go to Edinburgh? Also cc final attendances aren’t declining much.
