Hoists

Seeing the Southern team again in the CC set me thinking (always dangerous). Is hoisting, union line-out style, permitted in the laws? I could see it being useful in short kick-off or dropout situations.

(Random side note: it didn't used to be permitted in union. iirc, South Africa developed it during their isolation, and when they came back, they brought hoisting with them)
