HawkMan Posted February 4 Posted February 4 (edited) Announced on Sky Sports News that Warrington's HJ Stadium will be renamed Luke Littler Stadium on February 21st only , for the Catalans game. Obviously a good news story, should entice some new eyeballs on the game. Q: If you could rename your team's stadium after a celeb for one match, who would you choose? Edited February 4 by HawkMan 1

RigbyLuger Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Great publicity stunt, only shame being Burgess or a player not being the one on Sky talking about it rather than the CEO.

I'm sure Burgess and the players are far happier talking rugby. A guy from work who lives in London and knows nothing about RL drew my attention to this so it has clearly attracted a bit of attention. 4 I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.
Wollo Wollo Wayoo Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Following the theme I guess Wakefield would have to be the Paul Sykes Stadium? 4 This world was never meant for one as beautiful as me. Wakefield Trinity RLFC 2012 - 2014 "The wasted years" 2013, 2014 & 2015 Official Magic Weekend "Whipping Boys" 2017 - The year the dream disappeared under Grix's left foot. 2018 - The FinniChezz Bromance 2019 - The Return of the Prodigal Son

graveyard johnny Posted February 4 Posted February 4 (edited) Warrington should name their stadium after the author Clare Harris - instead of LL Edited February 4 by graveyard johnny 1 7 I know Bono and he knows Ono and she knows Enos phone goes thus

From the train station, I'd suggest heading past Jack Fish Corner, past the Brian Bevan statue and down Mike Gregory Way. 3 I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Cheadle Leyther Posted February 5 Posted February 5 Is it me, but the only team that LL supports according to the media is Manchester United. He never seems to mention his passion for the Wire anymore, Plus the Warrington Wolves badge now seems to be missing from his darts uniform Will he be actually turning up for the Catalans game?
