MZH Posted July 8 Posted July 8 1 hour ago, Chrispmartha said: He did and has been doing that this year, but Brad Arthur has really managed him well and basically told him to get fit, the Hull coach will need to have similar attitude to him otherwise he will fall back to his previous standard, which wasn't very good. I'm not at all concerned by that. Cartwright won't put up with anyone not pulling their weight.
Chrispmartha Posted July 9 Posted July 9 Lisone to Hull confirmed. Lisone two weeks ago. ’no other team i want to play for (talking about Leeds) he forgot to add the caveat of ‘unless they throw a load of cash at me’ 1

I’m sad to lose him but he’s been more tocks than diamonds at his time at Leeds The 30 min players, are getting their on field time extended with the number of rest periods they recieve via the VR.

Damien Posted July 14 Posted July 14 Charnley wanting to finish his career at Wigan. A pretty amazing thing to come out with when they are the biggest rivals of the club you play for:

It has been a bit strange because he's still playing well and I'd consider him their best winger (maybe Leigh fans think differently). As for a move to Wigan, who knows. You'd think they must want a back up winger if they were prepared to bring in a 34 year old Union player. They can keep him with only 50% of his salary counting on the cap next year. If his 50% is similar to Charnleys 100%, it would be an absolute no brainer IMO. In saying that, a new second rower has to be the priority if there is cap space.

Seems rather stupid to me, paying one of your best players to sit and watch. 2

Obviously age is a factor these days though. 1

Yes I know you originally spoke about one player, but I was talking about collectively in the sport at the present time, in that those player's with a diminished aerobic capacity can play longer minutes with all the rest time in a game with the interaction of the VR's.

Crazy It's been like that for ever in RL,certainly when i started watching Featherstone in 1971,we lost all our best players over the years, a good few to Wakefield.

He’s signed an extension at Leigh last week though
