He did and has been doing that this year, but Brad Arthur has really managed him well and basically told him to get fit, the Hull coach will need to have similar attitude to him otherwise he will fall back to his previous standard, which wasn't very good.

I'm not at all concerned by that. Cartwright won't put up with anyone not pulling their weight.

Lisone to Hull confirmed.

Lisone two weeks ago.

’no other team i want to play for (talking about Leeds) he forgot to add the caveat of ‘unless they throw a load of cash at me’

Sam has been really good this season but that is only  because we have s very good pack who can play long minutes around him, he’s emehat id call a luxury prop because he will only give you 30 minutes maximum per game.

I’m sad to lose him but he’s been more tocks than diamonds at his time at Leeds

The 30 min players, are getting their on field time extended with the number of rest periods they recieve via the VR.

Hull KR are believed to be very close to signing Jack Charles from Hull from next year.

One club develops young talent over 5 or 6 years the other just flashes the cash.  Crazy

This world was never meant for one as beautiful as me.

Well Sam isn't getting more than 30 minutes so it isn't working for him 😉

Clubs can pay homegrown players more than their rivals if they choose to.

Charnley wanting to finish his career at Wigan. A pretty amazing thing to come out with when they are the biggest rivals of the club you play for:

Sounds pretty miffed with Lam leaving him out, Leigh blocking a loan move and that nothing had been put on the table before that all happened. It has been a bit strange because he's still playing well and I'd consider him their best winger (maybe Leigh fans think differently).

As for a move to Wigan, who knows. You'd think they must want a back up winger if they were prepared to bring in a 34 year old Union player. They can keep him with only 50% of his salary counting on the cap next year. If his 50% is similar to Charnleys 100%, it would be an absolute no brainer IMO. In saying that, a new second rower has to be the priority if there is cap space.

Paul Vaughan has reputedly said he is doing many more minuets these days with all the rests he gets with the stoppages.

Is Paul Vaughan Sam Lisone?

Cannot understand why he has been left out by Mr Lam, Josh is clearly the best finisher we have at the club.

Seems rather stupid to me, paying one of your best players to sit and watch.

Hes a very good winger and I always liked him at Wigan. Hes been a better winger than Marshall or Miski. Obviously age is a factor these days though.

Yes I know you originally spoke about one player, but I was talking about collectively in the sport at the present time, in that those player's with a diminished aerobic capacity can play longer minutes with all the rest time in a game with the interaction of the VR's.

If he signs yes, as he's contracted to Hull next year.

It's been like that for ever in RL,certainly when i started watching Featherstone in 1971,we lost all our best players over the years, a good few to Wakefield.

Not really many successful players would want to finish a long career PLAYING back where it all began eg Hall. He’s signed an extension at Leigh last week though
