Come on.

In any case, read your last sentence then remember back to Friday night's Dufty try when Catalan thought the ref missed an obstruction.

The NRL rule is -

"The captain can only challenge decisions by the referee which cause play to stop"

"Any decision by the referee to "play on" cannot be challenged"

Would assume the same is true in SL.

Absolutely nothing in that challenge from English.

Rules have changed so it’s not a penalty for not going 10

I know but surely the biggest reason for not doing a short drop out was the fact that it was most likely to give your opponent the ball back in the most dangerous part of the pitch and mean your defensive line was weaker because some players would have to compete for the kick. I'm not sure I'd take a short kick off over smacking it as far down the field as possible.

I could understand short kick offs being more popular as the risks are greatly reduced.

Jeez, more and more errors.

I felt he pulled the arm without touching the ball in that challenge.

That captain's challenge was pretty much identical to the one that was was ruled a knock on previously

Exactly, highlights the inconsistency in the officiating. The first half with two Hudds players hands on ball and Bibby pulling arm and ball away was clear strip but given as lost and then this one identical almost but given strip.

You can see why fans and players get frustrated.

Wet ball and Captain's Challenge is pushing me over the edge.

Nice of you to contribute to this forum Zoe Ball.

Wallis wants flogging for that.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.
