Just one specific comment: Whichever Salford fan started the “f### the RFL” chant, and those that joined in, need to take a long, hard look at themselves.

Salford would have gone bust in December if the game had not decided to save them. In fact it was specifically the RFL who stepped in to save them, when their fellow clubs were indifferent at best. Might be worth Salford’s fans reflecting on this for a few weeks…

To be fair i remember the 'Sandy's right the Ref's are $h1t£' chant that your lot came out with when your ex-coach sulked.

But yeah the 2nd paragraph is spot on, as we all know though they are the victims of a European wide vendetta against them.

Fair comment but I still reckon Connor is worse.

There’s been some notably bad ones defensively. Adam Quinlan always stuck out to me

Connor doesn't like 1 on 1 tackles, assuming he is even in the right position

He doesn't like to take the ball up either, assuming he catches it or gets a friendly bounce

He looks flash on the front foot, granted. But he'll throw a few interceptions too

I was out this afternoon,  how bad was the croft knock, ive not been able to lay my hands on a clip of it, so I'm assuming it wasn't great

Did seem too much in it from the defender it was a penalty but a bit harsh being a yellow. I think the bigger effect on Croft was as he got hit from the front it knocked his head into the second defenders head.

100%. I'm all for fans backing their side under any circumstances but show some humility. It's been a strange time this last few weeks for Salford. They've gone from a club that I don't think offended anyone and many would pick as a second team, to being a club who most rugby league fans would like to see lose today.

I think Rowley has tried to build an underdog mentality this last couple of years and it's worked but he's then used the recent troubles as an 'us against the rest' situation when it really wasn't that. It was an 'us being given support by the rest' situation and they threw it in people's faces. The Salford fans I've read on social media have been unbelievably one eyed but maybe that's social media for you.

The hit looked bad but Broadies was dipping as Shorrocks came in. There was contact with the head so yellow card. The damage was done by Ormerod's hard head. The incident really brought up old images when he did move. That was a Leeds game too

Salford got what they deserved from the game, so many forced stupid passes, and my new pet hate the skipping players!!

As a team they need to fight to get up noy lying passively until the defender moves off.  Looked rusty and much work to do.

With Shorrocks now banned, will Rowley now have to make 17 changes next week, if the backup loose forward isn’t familiar enough with the first choice players?
