This Luke Littler stuff is quality, nice tribute to a local lad who seems like a lovely fella, slightly tongue-in-cheek execution... precisely the sort of on-brand stuff our sport needs to be doing to stand out a bit. Just like that daft Vegas chapel at Wigan last weekend. Here's hoping the creativity will continue throughout the year.

Catalans kit looks really bad.

Not if you're putting out cones on the M6, then it really comes into its own.

Not sure why Burgess is unhappy with that decision, pretty blatant really.

Didn't think there was much in it but not not complaining about the pen

When's that young half back expected to be back, had some terrible injury last season but was looking at hell of a prospect.

That was a bit of a freebie.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Hang on, how many forward passes down the left hand side there.

Anyway, never ceases to be a mystery as to why they send these up to the screen. Five minutes of looking when there is never any prospect of it being overturned.

Hayes? I think Easter or thereabouts.

Don’t think you’d miss either team on a dark night. The hi-vis derby.

Dufty pulled up for putting the ball down and lifting himself up on it. Soft but OK, fine.

Literally tackle 1, Catalans do the exact same.

That's ridiculous by Crowther, what he is thinking there. He's a much better player than he showed there.

at least Littler was good enough to show the wire faithful what a trophy looks like as the only other cups that have ever been in the ground are in the canteen

I'm having my fun and that's all that matters

A tough game from what I've seen so far. Defence on top with some real aggressive defensive efforts.
