This is the recent form, all games in the last 2 years:

Australia:  24-4 and 14-0 wins over NZ and 82-0 over PNG

England: 82-0 and 60-0 over Wales and 64-0 over France

The last AUS/ENG game was in 2017 won by AUS  38-0

AUS betting sites give ENG 30.5 points start

I don't think it's condescending to say if England can score a couple, they'll have done great. We are making great strides to make the women's game strong, but there Jillaroos are still streaks ahead at the moment. Aus by +36. Score prediction 48-10

With two hours given to this and 2 1/2 hours for the other games it looks to me as though they'll be going for a 70 minute game with the various NRLW quirks.

Hope I'm wrong.

I think +30 is a very generous handicap. The Jillaroos of 2017 are a different beast to now.

Was confirmed as 70 minutes a few weeks ago.

Is it? You think England can get within 30 points? I admire your optimism, and I've gone with only a 38 point margin in my guess - but that's me being extremely optimistic.

Sorry I meant the other way. I fully expect them not to be within that.

Not surprised.

I'm less interested in that case. It's not a 'real' international. It's an 'NRL' international, with the rules to suit them.

I had suspected it would be this way, but it's still a thumbing of the nose at the international game.

The NRL has effectively annexed internationals, for years they have tried to control the rules and there is nobody to stop them.

At least there should be plenty of support for England in the stadium - would hope Wigan & Warrington fans can lift the team somewhat.

As lut in the Wigan Warrington thread, how good is it thst they will get to play in this stage, hopefully the crowd stays for it, it being in the middle of the two NRL games is s big plus.

Unfortunately the Jillaroos are wat way agead of England dmso should be a comfortable win

A complete massacre, but if the Aussies are so good why do they have to play to their rules instead of international rules? They deserve no credit.

I said this at the last WC but the Jillaroos are one of the best teams in world sport they’re outstanding.

Was just trying to think if there is a more impressively dominant, skilful team in women’s sport. Can’t think of one.
