It's going to be a big ask, but we have Hardaker, Cartwright and Knight to add to the team that played Wigan a few weeks ago, we have an extra 3 days turnaround, and there is a chance that Wigan's Vegas trip will catch up with them a bit.

I'm sure we will see another committed performance, but we've got to be pretty much perfect and hope that Wigan are a little bit off their best to have a chance. You never know though.

Apart from the residents of Pieland, I think the whole of the Rugby League would like your "You never know though" should it happen, but it is a big ask.

Must say I was thoroughly impressed with FC's commitment last week, it can only do them good going forward, more of the same please and - you never know though.

If we can show the same passion and commitment that we did against Leigh and get a fair crack from the clown in the middle (I say this without knowing who it is, which is an indication of the quality of officiating in the domestic game), then I'd like to think we can keep it to a 12-18 point loss. Since their defeat to Leigh, Wigan have spanked everyone by 40+ so I'd be ok with that. I think we lack the quality and pace in the backs to win it but I'd be delighted if we were able to grind out a win. Head: Wigan by 18, Heart: Hull by 4.

I really should know better than to be so stupid, but the closer the game gets the more I'm thinking we've really got a chance.

Very happy as well as being pleasantly surprised with Hull's start to the season but I think a task of this magnitude is beyond us at this stage. On the plus side, it's a stronger Hull side than the one that played Wigan at the MKM so it should be more of a contest.

It's looking little better than SD TV quality on my iPlayer stream.

Keighran looks a bit iffy after that.

I was wondering if that was just me - but yeah the feed doesn't seem to be particularly HD.

At least the VR footage won't be too jarringly different. 🙄

Why did they downgrade the quality of the ref's mic?

Sounds awful.

It does, spoils watching it. Sportsman last night was awful sound too.

Wait, am I alone in thinking we just had like 3/4 minutes break between the try and conversion to kick off, and I don't recall seeing a single replay of the try?

Just watching the ref talk to Harry Smith.

That was an impressive offload off that break by French. And Wigan eventually go through the hands to score a second.
