Does anybody know what the injury situation is at the club?

JT, Agoro, Astley, Hurst plus others and hopefully none from the HKR  mismatch.

Or mckenzie yei or Brad Gallagher 🤔

I have it on reasonable authority that Mackenzie Yei will not be playing for us.

Shame if it turns not to have worked out. Hope all goes well for him, though not if he plays against us, obv.

That would be a shame 😕

Yes he seemed a very genuine bloke. Sadly at his age and length of the injury, I always felt it would be difficult to continue playing at this level.

At his age? I appreciate that he looks like he's in his late 30s but according to the internet he's actually only 27 and two years younger than the Chapelhow's.

Is it me,or do players suffer far more injuries in the modern game than they used to, resulting in weeks/months out? My pet theory is that they spend far too much time in the gym, ending up looking like body builders. That and the obsession with 'big hits' instead of conventional leg tackling, result in a power game at the expense of skill and flair, and maybe result in more injuries. Any thoughts?

I remember a conversation between Ray French and alex murphy. Ray says "I can't ever remember having a groin strain when I played, did you alex?". Alex replys "never had a groin strain, well not playing rugby anyway"! To which they both fell about laughing. 🤣

Heard that Wildie is out for 8 - 10 weeks! Heard he is having an operation today on his elbow.

Massive loss.

If true, that's a huge loss, hopefully we borrow Forber or find another replacement for 3 months.

That would be a real blow and whilst Milner and Aldridge are a good combination, switching Milner disrupted our shape at the weekend. I like Baxter - he is a real workhorse and very mobile - but he lacks the passing game.

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

Baxter is a grafter but I just don't think he's big enough to make a real impact when attacking.
