wroteforluck87 Posted March 18 Posted March 18 has tonight been found guilty by an Independent Operational Rules Tribunal of a Grade E biting charge. as a result, he will face a seven match suspension, £250 fine & 41 penalty points imposed.
shrewsbury roughyed Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Big punishment but, assuming he did it, justified. Big lesson for the lad. Hope he learns from it and comes back fitter and better. 1
bosman69 Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Zach eckersley would have been nice as a talented Oldhamer but he is starting regularly as Miski is injured. If I am reading the wigan squad correctly they have a young centre called Nathan Lowe in the first team squad but playing reserves at the moment. A real blow to lose Jumah for so long along with the injuries to Jordan and Thornley. Hopefully the latter is short term? We still have Jack Johnson and Ben O'Keefe to fill the centre positions in the meantime 1
Enk27 Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Is there any right to appeal or is it just a case of accepting the punishment? Again from the evidence available to the regular folk it definitely looked more arm to face than Sambou looking to bite.
jroyales Posted March 19 Posted March 19 What does it mean having 41 penalty points? He's been banned and paid his fine, surely that must be it. Any more talk about Henderson?

The Art of Hand and Foot Posted March 19 Posted March 19 I'm quite shocked. The video seems innocuous.

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!
sheddingswasus Posted March 20 Posted March 20 I would like to know why the Barrow man wasn’t cited! In the RFLs disciplinary report they state the Barrow players arm was wrapped tight around Sambous head ! Anything above the shoulder is a penalty. 1

wroteforluck87 Posted April 30 Author Posted April 30 Hull KR are closing in on the signing of Oldham hotshot Jumah Sambou. All Out Rugby League understands the Robins have made the Roughyeds outside back their latest transfer target and are expected to secure his services for the 2026 season.

His attacking play in the early part of this season mark him out as a rare talent. He needs to go and see if he can fulfil that promise. We really need to see his success, that of George Hurst, and to an extent PLT, as a feather in our cap and a way of attracting young players to come and play for us. 3

shaw llewellyn Posted May 1 Posted May 1 Lots of potential but can't see him in Hull KR first team at moment. Loaned back to us like PLT would be great. 1

Think he is physically equipped for Super League, but will need to address his defence. Can see him being a real star.
bosman69 Posted May 1 Posted May 1 Jumah has gone great potential. Size, speed and the ability to beat a man. He can learn a lot from Iain thornley in terms of his ability to make space for his winger but if he can stay fit and away from the disciplinary then we will have a very exciting player for the rest of this season. It is a great compliment to both him and the club that Hull K R that he has this opportunity.. if we did get him back on loan and his brother on DR from Wigan that would be something! 1
