Strangely this seems like a Utah RL endeavour but has the Hawks branding and the USARL backing. I'm pretty sure Utah RL are basically a rebel organisation not under the USARL.

They were under the USARL banner until I believe the end of last year. When it turns out that USARL has different residency qualifications to play than the Utah RL did. So the Utah RL pulled out of the final and decided to go on their own again.

And yes, last I heard, Utah and USARL had a rift going on. This tweet is less than 2 months old (and has not been deleted)

Turns out that one particular Utah club is a rebel club of a rebel governing body and still USARL affiliated...
