Morning Kenny, its due to the ladies playing at 4.30 and them making it a double header. There are no trams I believe as I now have a car full of people wanting a lift both ways when they usually go out drinking before the game and I just give them a lift back to Swinton

Poor performance today - created very little and made too many errors. Dewsbury were worth their win. Don't know why Roby wasn't playing and why Briers went to fullback when he came on, he's not strongest of tacklers but his kicking game is good.

Would still like to see Stevens playing but what do I know.

Lets hope the team play better next week.

Any positives? Social media comments are not encouraging.

Rams fan here. You have a number of decent young players who will take a while to gel into a good team, so shouldn't all be doom and gloom. You were beaten in the forwards today where you need a bit more grunt and our pack recognised that so kept attacking the ruck. Some of your players spent their energy arguing with the touch judges and referee instead of concentrating upon things that they can actually make happen.

You will do OK and, like most in this division cause a couple of surprises along the way.

OK pies too!

Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.

Your comments are appreciated. Seems there was plenty of effort but a lot of errors and penalties from Swinton and the Dews forward dominance was a key factor.

Yeah that's exactly it, lots of effort but it was misplaced, Dewsbury were worth the win.

Far too many errors and penalties given away and completely outmuscled.

The other positive was Briers looked bright when he came on, his kicking was better than anything we served up in the first half.

Get Abram back at fullback and go for Briers/Paga/Stevens in the halves.

I don't feel as despondent as other comments I've read, there's still positives and this is going to happen with a young squad, we won't win every match and sometimes the youngsters can be over enthusiastic.

We practice one or two men holding the top half of the player, then another player taking his legs and putting them on the floor, yet the amount of times yesterday we missed the legs and couldnt put them down, then they got a roll on with quick play the balls. Thought Briers did well when he came on, would like to see Stevens come in at half back next game. Abram and Paga are not working well together

Well the wrestling tackle which is the preferred approach these days really winds me up - should go back to the old fashioned one up and one down, tackle round the legs as first contact with the second tackler preventing the player from passing the ball.

But there again what do I know.

There's not a lot I like about union but they do tackle round the legs

Really don't see Abram as a scrum half and I too would like to see Stevens getting a shot.

Briers does have a good kicking game although on yesterday's showing he lacks a bit of pace and isn't the strongest of tacklers - but in a well balanced team individual weaknesses can be handled.

Felt sorry for Seargent yesterday - he dropped another high ball from which Dewsbury scored and was only given one opportunity and he managed to pass the back ball inside to Rodden to score.
