I picked up on the latest Boundary Line,  that the £12 tickets are not available on the day. I believe they go upto £16.  I have therefore just gone online and purchased my group booking.

I am not sure on the injury situation with no official update on Dixon and others but I have noted that Wigan have no game this weekend so if DR is needed then our timing is perfect..I am not suggesting that bevan French or Nsemba are going to be turning out  (much as I am sure they would want to..) but we might need to call upon this arrangement again

Maybe Douglas or Eckersley

Eckersley would be great as an Oldhamer.. it doesn't seem that long ago I was watching his dad streak down the wing for us.. he seems to be a fixture in the first team now with injuries to be Miski and Keighan.

Hate dual reg. We dont need it. Our lads who played last season and did the pre season should be getting games not Wigan players.

Walker beware McDonald has your mark this Sunday or should I say fictitious bruise!

Can't see us losing and expect a 40+ win.

Oldhamers getting excited about a trip to Wembley.

What could possibly go wrong?

Be careful what you wish for??? Yes Oldham will go into this game as overwhelming favourites but I've seen enough games in my life time to not take things for granted. I'm hoping your are correct but Barrow are no mugs, have already beaten us this season (all be it against probably a radically different Oldham side than the one that will be put out on Sunday) so are no mugs, we must give Barrow the respect they deserve as they are a decent side but hopefully your prediction comes true and we march into the semi's.

COME ON OLDHAM!!!!!

No Tyrer or O'Keefe again in 21 man squad, but Wigan dual registers. Have Tyrer/O'Keefe left or are they injured? The silence is deafening.

Pity about Cian missing out again as I didn't think Cartwright offered much more last time he played.

Turner,  Thornley and Macdonald. Three top quality centres.

Interesting to see the 17 at 2pm on Sunday.

Like to see Macdonald paired with Turner.

O’keefe was injured I am fairly certain. I think the coaches have decided the Tyrer is not suited to the Championship?

O'Keefe was injured in the build up to the London game. He was due to start at right centre but Johnson came in to cover for him.

That would be a shame for Tyrer if true as he was an electric player last year and the young fans seemed to be looking up to him.

I agree that I'd have to like to have seen Tyrer play more but you never know what's going on behind the scenes if he's struggling in training or has some issues off the field as he's barely been in the 21 man squad never mind the 17 even though we've had loads of injuries in the backs.

For this week I reckon this is looking like the strongest team we've had available. With Cartwright in the squad you'd reckon he's playing so its likely that Thornley would have another week off to fully get over his injury with Nene in at centre and Johnson on the wing. Interesting Lawton misses out despite Taylor also being out. Lawton doesn't look quite right to me and I wonder if he's still struggling to recover from that broken leg. Would also give Craven another week to get over his knee niggle with Riley available.

I'd go PLT, Johnson, Nene, Turner, Cartwright, Dean, Drinkwater, Dudson, Wildie, Ted, Ashurst, Hirst, Milner. subs: Forber, Farnworth, Moran, Jay.

Thought Barrow were great against us in the away game and were really physical with us. Hope we respond in kind.

Oldham by 10.

If I had free reign my 3/4s would be johnson and nene on the wing (licensed to roam as per his interview) with thornley and Jordan in the centres. I am not sure Craven is fit.. he was just running on Tuesday according to the sean long interview.. so I would go with dean and drinkwater as per Brookys suggestion. I agree with the rest as well but would like to see Forster get some game time soon. We have been very lucky with injuries up front thus far but they will happen.
