How would Ireland be problematic for English-speakers?

My point was if you’re English/ British then you may need a work permit to work/ live in EU countries.

It’s already been posted but if anyone British is desperate to live in the EU  then the common travel area with the Irish Republic, which pre-dates the EU, is very much still a thing… if you live in the Republic of Ireland you can travel to and live in the UK no questions asked. And vice versa.

This is basic constitutional stuff. You could move to Dublin tomorrow.

There has not been a physical office for years.  Like in many organisations, it is no longer necessary.  Just a registered address is enough.  I am not saying it's an easy process, but surely not an impossible one.

I bet the office in Manchester is Cheaper than Dublin!

Well ‘constitutionally can’ and ‘can afford to’ are obviously two different things 😂

The one in Dublin comes with access to a 500k grant.

(But, yes, Dublin is insane for prices).

That grant would be swallowed up by being there rather than in RFL HQ (which is where I assume it is).

Though why a tag on to an existing NGB couldn't be found I'm not sure.

We'll just have to base our mythical Irish ERL HQ in Burt, County Donegal then.

Absolutely this. I understand there are these things called 'computers' and 'mobile phones' nowadays that enable people to work remotely.

Just outside Derry. Been there. Bought some petrol at the Texaco station.

From the Irish Magh.

The Erasmus+Sport programme that they got money from previously ran from 2014-2020. It's a sensible move to be inside the EU to be eligible for funding, but it's not the case that they will necessarily get anything in the next round - looks like only about one in seven proposals were actually successful.
