Just checking before i purchase my ticket for this Friday's game, are all the Oldham fans gonna be in the North Stand at Widnes? You can buy a ticket in the South Stand but I'm assuming that's where all the home fans are situated. Thanks

On their website visiting supporter tickets directs me to the South stand Block B? Seems to be the area for away fans.

Thanks for that, think if you go through the link on Oldham's website it takes you to a different page on the Widnes site as just now if I wanted to I could purchase a ticket for the North Stand at £24. Going direct through the Widnes website it does as you say indicate you buy a ticket for the South stand block B. I think therefore I'll go with that option otherwise I'll be sat in a 2500 seater stand on my own like billy no mates 🤣

Glad I saw this - I was just about to get some North Stand tickets 🫣

Yeah the Oldham website takes you to the main ticket site which you can then either pick a seat in the South or have general admission in North 🤷‍♂️

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

Lucas Mason is the spitting image of his Dad. He is a second rower.
Looks like Danny Craven or Riley Dean in the centre

Glad to see Mo back

Surely we’ll just play MacDonald in at centre and Agoro and Johnson on the wings?

I think it was a brilliant move and another great example of the directors trying to create a buzz at the club.

He needed match fitness and was never going to be at 100% but he showed his class and took his try.

Permanent move anyone?

And he's still got a game of his loan deal left.

That’s the rumour!

Another massive game but we are so thin in the backs. Looking at the squad someone is going to have to play out of position. Widnes have had a good start but have dropped off the last few weeks and last week got battered by Barrow so I imagine they would put in a much improved performance. Looking forward to seeing some of our old players but especially Langtree.

I'd go:Dean, Agoro, Johnson, Turner, PLT, Craven, Drinkwater, Dudson, Forber, J Chap, Ashurst, Lawton, Milner. subs: Aldridge, Moran, Farnworth, T Chap.

Not ideal having to move several players in the backs but needs must. Wouldn't be surprised if a couple of the older forwards struggle to back up which would see Forster or Baxter in. Forber should come straight into the side but I'm struggling to see where Mason fits in although I thought he looked very good against us a few weeks ago.

I must admit I had Dean at centre and the rest the same. It would be a big ask as that right centre gets a lot of traffic so Johnson to centre where he is very solid might be the go. I assume Tyrer is on dual reg Still and feels like he is very much on the outer. Ben Okeefe? I assume still injured..? Hopefully Thornley will be short term. The 17 still looks strong but increasingly threadbare. I notice that Yei is not named in the Hunslet squad.  Their supporters referenced a couple of drives.. being put on hid backside then trotting off knackered! Looks a long way back for him.. with Koppy retired it's just as we'll our big men are less injury prone than our backs! Ashurst looks like he needs a break so perhaps an opportunity for forster or baxter again?

I daresay we will see a process in the next month of getting our best players to their optimum level and fitness for the semi final before a renewed concentration on the league after that game.

In terms of the club's development and financial strength, that is the big prize.

Just for more context, I did notice that Bradford have been only able to name a squad of 19 for there game against Halifax.. our league leaders in Fax have started strongly and good luck to them. However, they don't appear to have suffered any material injuries as of yet. When they inevitably do the depth of their squad Will be tested.
