Another week and probably the biggest game of the season so far. Bradford are the biggest club in the league and a win for us would be undoubtedly a huge statement that we belong in the Championship. They have a massive pack and size across the board and it will physically be a massive test.

For us last week was mildly disappointing but I love the attitude from the coach and senior players that even draws away from home aren't good enough. Squad looks very similar with only George back in for us Mason and Thornley back so I'd go

PLT, Mo, Thornley, JT, Johnson, Craven, Drinkwater, Dudson, Milner, Ted, Ashurst, Hirst, Moran. subs: Aldridge, Farnworth, Jay, Lawton.

Would go Milner to start at hooker just because there is going to be no space through the middle at the start whereas I think Bailey off the bench can bring some spark which we have been missing. Think the backs pick themselves and Hirst should be straight back into the team in the forwards where we have been very strong to start the season.

If that's the case can we get the match sponsored by Royal Oldham Hospital Cardiac Unit?

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

looking forward to it Oldham playing with a real confidence specially at home could be a a great game of rugby hoping we win offcourse but be very tough ask regardless

There is a car park behind the Jimmy frizell stand accessed off sheepfoot lane.. You don't have to walk round half the ground then presuming it's segragated

Interesting to hear that the 20 named are our remaining fit players. Apparently Cian Tyrer picked up an injury playing for Rochdale last week.

A lot of the absentees are long term as well.. so little light at the end of the tunnel aside from Sambou. Injuries are biting at Wigan as well but we have been well served by DR thus far. Recruitment is not easy at this time of year as all squads are getting stretched..

Fordy said at the  forum that recruitment was always ongoing and it was on going already for next season.

I am sure that is the case. A lot of the squad have deals that expire at the end of this season as well so sure it will be busy. My concern is more the near term with the semi final looming large

Yes. Featherstone seems to be tooling up. PNG prop from Cas and an on loan winger from Hull KR.

Fev will be stronger but they have lost Connor Wynne as part of the cas deal who played strongly on their left wing scoring 2 and nearly squeezing in for a hat trick..

For tonight's game I'd play DC at hooker. He has the skills to open up sides and has the ability to keep the players around him moving. Something missing since we lost Wildie.

Sadly, I can't see us beating Bradford but who knows we might get a referee who knows the game!

Interesting idea. I’d certainly put DC alongside JD. We’re certainly missing something fast and acute from hooker.

Well it’s game day feeling now can’t wait for my first ever visit to boundary park hoping for a huge crowd and some very entertaining rugby. Oldham no mugs anymore that we put a score on couple times about 4 year ago your a really good team playing really good attractive rugby with a never give in attitude bookies have giving you a 4 headstart which I don’t think that’s right considering your above us and unbeaten in about 18 months at home then again bookies are rarely wrong they gave fax a 4 start against us on that basis it was a 12-12 draw Good Friday

Be a good event tonight.

I think Bradford will prove too strong for us. Hope I'm wrong of course.

If we had Wildie and a full strength team I'd be a little more confident.

Not sure Bulls have any injuries other than Gill

Tufua, Holmes and gill, why we have Hooley on loan to cover Holmes but overall full strength just make shift centre with Bailey Lui

I do think we’re a massively inferior team without Wildie. He’s the guy to us going forward, Aldridge is a big drop sadly.

Regardless, after multiple seasons of Midlands, Cornwall and other minnows such as Rochdale, these are the nights it’s all about as a fan. Should be a cracker.

Suspect you are right with the amount of absentees we’ve got. Hopefully, the lads that take the field can put on a good performance. Come on Oldham.

That's as bad a first half as we've had in a couple of years , first off how 4 players can be unfit after being named in a 20 man squad to days ago is bizarre , if they where doubts why not loan a couple of players in for such a tough test ? We have Craven playing on the wing  Bradford have targeted him and scored a try on each occasion , not his fault he's so out of position but with Turner looking so out of shape  next to him it adds to the problem , and Lewis Baxter is not a hooker ever ,Plt is great in attack but kicks in the air he isn't confident at all under pressure  one huge positive is Ben Forster has looked great apart from a 15 spell off the pitch after a high tackle was missed ,I fear a long second half coming
