Glad that wasn't a red.Ā

It should have been. There was zero mitigation there and Sinfield made absolutely no attempt to wrap.

Leeds looking good, making yards in middle. I think they will do us tonight. We look gassed, cannot understand Peters decision to put our best centre on wing and best second row in centre. Just hope Willie proves me wrong

I had given up on questioning Willy then looking daft a couple of weeks later, but I’ll go again - couldn’t agree more.Ā

Rovers are flat. Kershaw debut and enthusiasm would have been a big plusĀ

Leeds’ try came from Hiku defending his edge as a centre, instead of thinking about the width in the way a winger would. This ā€œmuscle memoryā€ stuff matters in defence.

Leeds’ line speed under Arthur is the best we’ve faced all season. Better than Wigan. The impact on Lewis is very noticeable, and we need to address that in the second half with changes to how forwards approach contact and find their front I think. Trade metres for PTB speed.Ā

Yes it was a red. Worse than Cust’s last week. At least he was attacking a kick chase there, whereas Sinfield was 3rd man in (so totally superfluous in terms of yardage) and should be far more cautious as a result. Leeds dodged a bullet there.

I’m sure the lads’ surname was helpful…

For the sake of the game I'm glad it wasn't but I really couldn't see any mitigation.

Great contest though, if Leeds can spend as much time in the opposition twenty in the second half as they did in their own in the first half, I think they'll win it.

I agree. Sinfield had way more time to react than Cust and the ball carrier wasn't falling. Its a really bad call for me.

Agreed, I thought the replays they played at half time were damning. Absolute no need for him to stick the shoulder in Ā

I think there’s merit to putting players in the bin and then a further review. Can’t recall for certain but they might do that in the other code.Ā

Good reason for us not to do it then šŸ˜‰

Very good try.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Big fan of Lumb. Good size, pace and looking at that, good game awareness and handling ability as well.Ā

That try was beautiful to watch.

Done us on our right edge again.

i don’t like being right, obviously, but it is what it is. This is Peters’ kryptonite, he always takes the ā€˜prudent’ option when forced to adjust his team.Ā
